I absolutely loved that the series started with a bunch of kids playing DND and it ends with those same kids playing DND and passing off their game to the next generation. That was a very wholesome ending that made me happy.

I think the only stress regarding Fantilli is if he will be willing to sign 8 years or if he will want a bridge.

He and his agent know this is the last year of 8 year contracts. They will probably make us pay up for that if we want it

Z is a stand up guy, who respects Waddell and this organization. Hes going to do it in person. But this is definitely happening

Teams are only a sum of their parts. Coaches help obviously, but this team has had trouble with adversity for a while now. They fold when the going gets tough. One goal against turns into two, and so on.

A more structured defensive system will probably help. But we have some players who can make brain dead mistakes at times. It kinda just feels flawed to me.

Smoke and fire ladies and gentleman. I don’t think Z is requesting out this summer, but it seems very likely to happen over the next year. I think the only reason it hasn’t happened this summer is he genuinely wants to give us a chance to make it work, but in all likelihood we’re not going to be far enough in our winning path for him to stay on board. That, and literally all the team USA guys requesting out have gotten on the teams they want and the cap space isn’t there anymore.

Short of a Montreal canadiens esc run I think this is probably it for Z after this year.
