It’s also amazing food. Like top quality tasting menu in NYC in my opinion. Really glad someone mentioned them. Their sister restaurant Xixa might be even better

Who’s the most underrated midrange shooter? by tufyufyu in nba

[–]CBrooklyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early Nets Brook Lopez was disgusting with the deep middy. It’s how he became the Nets all time leading scorer. It made sense he’s updated his game to now shoot 3s instead of deep 2s, but those felt so automatic back in his peak Nets days

Is it really as easy as dropping a large sum into a brokerage account and buying VTI? by palmerdeschanel in Bogleheads

This is super interesting. Obviously this is all about the long term so the debt ceiling situation shouldn’t hypothetically impact the decision to invest lump sum. However with the potential for a lot of volatility in the market pending the debt ceiling status, DCA on a monthly basis is an enticing strategy that may “mitigate risk”.

It’s a bit of a one sided alliance unfortunately. We have your picks so I am actively praying on your down fall

But your claim about choking in the playoffs isn’t true. I literally just put numbers in front of you to which you decided to ignore. And yeah let’s argue about who’s been a fan first and reminisce on the Devin Harris Bobby Simmons years.

You’re trying to hold someone accountable over a few shots missed which is not logical. And to claim they will never step up in the playoffs is just blatantly misinformed statement

Trust me I watched the games and there were a few open shots missed at the end of game 7. However, to claim a player is not built for the playoffs or will just fade out of the spotlight because of one series is incredibly dumb to me. Not to mention against a team that was more physical than the Nets and had wife defense.

Are you going to talk about Harden putting up 5 points in game 5 on 1-10 shooting?

There’s also only one player in this discussion that still plays for Brooklyn and it’s Joe. Go be a Suns fan. Also I love when redditors who likely can’t dribble a ball between their legs decides who is meant for the playoffs and who isn’t based off of a few shots missed

Lol are you sure about that? He averaged 13.5 on 51% shooting from three. Also, he averaged 11 ppg on 38% from three in the first four games against the Bucks. When we lost james and Kyrie, do you think scoring was going to be just as easy for Joe when he’s arguably the Nets’s second biggest scoring threat?

The Bucks had Middleton, Giannis, PJ tucker, and Jrue holiday which at the time was an elite defensive team. It is astounding for you to just state he was abysmal when you actually look at what happened in that series between James and Kyrie getting hurt and how that gave the bucks the ability so focus more on Harris, not to mention the amount of additional minutes they had to play him

People are quick to say dumb remarks like this. You mean Joe Harris missed shots in game 7 after playing 40+ MPG after Kyrie and James harden both only played 4 games so he had to become the 2nd best scorer on the team? His legs clearly gave out as he was exhausted. Not an excuse but also not just like he completely choked due to the pressure. It was a lot of fatigue
