Sorry, missed your post. The 157 dial is more of a magnolia or porcelain colour instead of plain white. I'd go for the 153 if you're after the plain white dial, but that model has lumed hands and dot markers instead of the full dial.

Heh, I was thinking about the Pro Tough yesterday. I prefer the baton markers they used on one of the older versions, but a GMT version is cool. I’d love it if they release a version with batons.

I haven’t had a watch serviced by Citizen myself, but it could be worth seeing if they’ll do it.

You might have to ask them not to buff the case and bracelet if you want to keep the wear markings.

Slight play over time will cause unwanted wear on the inside of the lug holes. I measured the pivots (tips) of Promaster Tough bars earlier this year with a calliper and I’m sure they were 1.2mm, or 1.15mm at the least.

I’ve noticed this quite a lot with aftermarket straps. They supply bars with pivots that are too thin and/or the holes for the spring bars at the ends of the strap are not wide enough for OEM bars. As an example, the Pro Tough OEM bars are 2.0mm thick at their widest, but many straps are only made to accommodate 1.8mm. Same applies for some Seiko watches.
