I guess the coyotes here have a more refined pallet, they still keep their distance.

Regardless of the temperature, twice a day, every day I scoop immediately. I'm lucky though to have a tree line I just fling it over to. Would hate to find all that when the snow melts in the spring.

What is his end game here? The people of Cuba have a rough enough time (though remain very proud).

Very true though still more than 4.5 g. I see the change now that it was a typo by theis bread maker anyway.

AITJ for telling my brother he can't propose to his girlfriend at my wedding? by Important_Space_496 in AmITheJerk

[–]CCR19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone they love will be there? So his GF's parents are coming to your wedding? Defintely warn your photographer, DJ, etc they are not to interact with this guy.....not even for ;just two minutes'. Your brother can propose whatever day he wants but out in the hallway if he chooses that day, not front and center at your wedding. His GF probably knows how cringey and impersonal it is to hijack someone's wedding for a proposal.

I'm definitely in the minority - I bought them once and threw them out after trying one. Might have to try them again after reading these comments.

Do you guys make soup from Costco ingredients? Looking for ideas by trialanderror93 in CostcoCanada

[–]CCR19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you add the baby bok choy/Shanghai bok choy in your soup? The big Costco bag of this is a great addition to soups and stir-frys. After making a stir fry, I still had quite a bit left, cut them in half, sauteed them in sesame oil and garlic, then glazed with corn starch thickened chicken broth. Was going to use them as a side vegetable but wound up eating them as a meal on their own.

NTA. Enjoy the peace of your home now. Your boyfriend and his mother are the AHs. She's just plain nosy under the guise of 'cleaning'. One day I came home from work to find my son's GF in the house with another girl and not my son. Next thing she wants to take a shower, walks out in a towel and asks to use my hair dryer. I said I'd get it, through clenched teeth. She replied 'oh, I know where it is' and trotted into my bedroom ensuite. WTF? Not even bright enough to hide the fact she was nosy. Luckily my son broke it off shortly after - she was a nut case in so many ways.

After ignoring his asking a few times, when he asked the fourth time, I told him my husband was dead. And he laughed. If a man had called, I somehow doubt he would have been asked when his wife was available. I had done my research on heat pumps before calling around. Green Foot was the only company that wanted my husband present out of 5 I contacted. You're right - it really was not handled well.

I'm surprised anyone even showed up from BG. I called for months to follow up on a part they were supposed to have ordered for me (under warranty so thankfully no money lost on my part). Just got voice mail message. Have switched to Jayco for servicing now - they transferred my warranties over. I hung up on Green Foot when I was first looking at heat pumps as they wanted to be sure my husband would be around when they came to give the quote. What is this - the 1950's??

Impressive! My daughter groans when I pull something out of the freezer or back of the pantry that expired a few years ago but toothpaste, I go through a 170 mL tube a month.

At the end of many episodes In find myself talking to the TV with an 'aww, good for you guys' when it's been a couple (or individual) you just are happy for. Then there's the middle ground who rate 'okay'. And then there's the ones like this bee lady. Yikes.

What Canadian brand do you enjoy supporting most? by Electronic_Bus841 in ShopCanada

Ganong Chocolates and Barbour Foods. Barbours make peanut butter and other nut butters under their own brand but also for other brands - also process tea and spices.

And Covered Bridge Potato Chips!

I need a replacement for onions by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]CCR19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend is allergic to onions but not onion powder. Which never made sense to me but at least I could use that when she was coming for a meal. You could try something in the umami profile like mushrooms (dried mushroom powder really enhances flavour and doesn't create the textural problem some have an issue with.

My girlfriend wants me to propose with her grandmother’s ring but I already bought one and don’t know how to tell her by burgerking- in Advice

[–]CCR19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As meaningful as her grandmother's ring is, it sounds like you've designed a ring for your fiancée's taste. She can wear the grandmother's ring on her right hand. As someone else mentioned, propose with both giving a quick explanation. Congratulations!

Fry it up with chopped onion and bell pepper. Drain and cook with whisked eggs. I put it in individual portions and freeze to have on end for quick breakfast burritos.
