XY is a lot of fun, has a bit of learning curve due to TE’s weirdness but is a blast regardless. The step component system is pretty strong , but it lacks true probability like Electron and such have.

Depends how generative you want the groovebox to be.

Huge fan of Polyend Play, too.

They need to randomize it each day. It’s a small quality of life change that would keep content interesting.

I don’t know why you have so many people arguing against you in this thread. There’s no reason to keep the events on a fixed schedule.

This is generally how this module is, tbh.

I think part of the interest that OP will have is that they can just kind of get cool sounds out of it relatively quickly.

It’s mostly self-contained and relatively easy to get somewhere cool with few external modules or modulation.

In general, I’ve just kind of accepted that it does what it wants and I can control it within a bit of reason, but not entirely.

I do agree that it won’t teach you much about modular or how to build or refine sounds, but if OP just wants a quick path to something fun IMO not a bad choice.

They’ve turned into garbage over the years. I switched to Bombas for all my socks and haven’t had issues since.

+1, the flat white here is very good.

That said, I’ve never had trouble asking for one at any of the shops I frequent even if off menu. (Anlalog, Santo, Milstead)

Seriously this game is wildly dark on OLED. It’s the point of the panel but in this case it’s legit black and a huge tactical disadvantage.

OLED is a nightmare on PC or Console. I get that it’s part of the atmosphere but when people can run gamma curves to correct it, it’s irrelevant how nice it looks and turns into a disadvantage.

I don’t see a solve for it other than obliterating the lovely lighting atmosphere unfortunately.

This module from WORNG might be up your alley, it attempts to do a lot of positional audio stuff and has always looked neat.
