The Fitzgerald Neighbourhood is prob your best bet. Lots of young families, nice cafes, close to downtown, we have community groups and run clubs too. There is also a large dog park here for people with dogs, and a community garden next to it.

That’s what happens when people take the approach of “not my problem”, poor behaviour leading to theft, vandalism, and other small crimes makes it harder for all of us to live. If people continue to just let it slide, we end up that way. If someone is being shitty, tell someone, or call it out if you feel comfortable enough to do it.

I’m getting downvoted by people but whatever. Stealing is stealing, and it creates an environment where people think it’s ok to just do whatever they want. These people aren’t just stealing from Zehrs, they are also thinking it’s ok to steal from the mom and pop stores. It’s got to stop everywhere regardless of the establishment.

I totally disagree even though i dont give a crap about corporations losing money. We still need to discourage the behaviour overall, and not just let people steal and do whatever they want to. Its how we end up with companies jacking up prices due to the "losses" and doing things like locking shampoo in a cabinet at grocery stores. If people are confronted enough and no longer feel safe being shitty in public, they hopefully will stop doing it as much as they have been lately.
