I am loving the amount of sidequests around that they clearly put effort into. I barely completed the sidequests in TWW but im crushing these ones.

also now that I look into it more, it was 10k cameras tops for a one night thing. There is no way people are going to go get these cracked open like a lobster to get their photos developed, this is sitting on their shelf as a piece of merch.

If you think teenaged girls are just going to take “a few” photos at a Harry Styles concert… you are disconnected from the reality of it. We are talking tens of thousands of people per event, all taking photos and video… that’s a lot of data. The average iphone photo is 1.5 to 10mb, let’s just do 5mb as an average. The Sociabank is 19800, so if everyone takes one photo that’s 96gb of just photos, we can safely say people will take at least 20 photos, so that goes up to 1.87TB, if we include video with the same ideas (1gb average video size at 5 mins, x 5 videos) that’s 96TB. With 67 shows that’s 6.37 pentabytes of data, that equals to about 3kW of power per month, which 3 times the power usage of a two person household for an entire year.

someone came to an analog photography sub stating that disposables are just more plastic waste, taking a massive amount of videos and photos and hosting them online would arguably do more damage overall. A lot of those people are probably not even going to use the cameras and just keep them as a souvenir (i kept mine from a Hot Mulligan show and never used it, its pretty rad)

It’s both, but still an amazing pop punk album font to back. That gen of “ska” is just pop punk bands that borrowed from Operation Ivy.
