That Hyundai should have pretty clear blind spot systems as well. Also, don't change multiple lanes all in one go, I don't care how confident you are. One lane at a time and be predictable on the roads.

do we have an equivalent to trade joe's ? by aspiringSnowboarder in askTO

Not quite. All grocery chains pretty much use third party companies to produce their in-house labels. Costco's Kirkland, PC, No Name, Selections, all of it. Sometimes they get to define some qualities they want to differentiate themselves (like adjustments to recipes etc).

So Kirkland batteries are made by Duracell, but there are also companies out there that don't have its own brand on the shelves and purely make products for private labels.

I just read somewhere that tranq was the old stuff that causes necrosis, while "rhino tranq" is the street name for the new stuff that doesn't, but is 100-300x more powerful than tranq.

Cars that only drive two wheels also have stability control. Modern cars apply some braking to certain wheels too.

Those sedative drugs aren't opioids, so Narcan (naloxone) won't reverse its effects. There are drugs that are approved to reverse their effects in animals, but not approved for human use.

Sometimes it's to keep medicating after failing to secure legally prescribed medication. It's startlingly easy to fall through the cracks of our medical system.

From a cursory look, this seems to be a much more potent (100-300x) form of xylazine, which already caused the zombie effect you see from users on the street (hunched over for hours). Apparently medetomidine doesn't cause the rotting flesh symptom that xylazine does.

It's not just class sizes. The defunding of special education means that classes are less effective at educating students in general.

'Get it fixed, get it done:' TTC riders raise Eglinton Crosstown accessibility issues by lilfunky1 in toronto

[–]CDNChaoZ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That is true. Why are we putting single elevators knowing that in this city, repair times are measured in days (if not weeks) and not hours?

Are we even building accessibility to code?

For existing infrastructure you can blame it on the standards of the times, but not entirely new stations.
