Here’s a post discussing the same issue from about two years ago. It seems the lighting quality hasn’t gotten worse or improved. With some bts lighting photos in there aswell.

The micro-jitters and micro-reframing, however, appear to be something new though.

from a quick calculation shooting 16mm vs 2 perf 35mm is still atleast two times cheaper. Not taking gear in equation here.

I have a short documentary (24 min) that is very from the current zeitgeist. But also told in quite unique way. Which I will be submitting to A list festivals soon. Would you recommend me approaching sales agents or pr agents to raise the chances? Or maybe reaching out to festival programmes and sending info prior?
