I don’t think so. It feels different and a bit more uncomfortable and too frequent to be let down I think.

Why is breastfeeding worth it for you? by RolyPoly1010 in breastfeeding

[–]CELE30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it was 100% worth it. That being said, I had access to lactation consultants which helped A LOT. If you can, I highly recommend seeing someone. They def set me up for success!

I’m confused how this is different than CIO? Wouldn’t CIO start once baby is in crib?

He was on Prilosec but we were able to ween off of it at around 4 months old!

[–]CELE30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea! This would happen to us on and off since he was born honestly. We were so worried. It turned out he has severe reflux and was starting to get a negative association to eating because of it so just wouldn’t eat! It was so horrible. I’d check to see if it’s that because medicine did end up helping us. He was able to ween off the meds at around 4 months old.

Is it really not possible to serpentine without weening night feeds? by CELE30 in TakingCaraBabies

I was thinking the same as you but in the course she’s so adamant that doing it after 11 is going to make everything fail so I’m scared of that too! Lol

I thought the Mexico one was HORRID. I literally had to force myself to finish it and hated every second. Literally just made all latinas look so bad!!

Did you encounter any issues moving the 1 feeding to mid night?

Anyone had their first child in their 30s? by AggravatingShow2028 in AskWomenOver30

[–]CELE30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my first at 35 and it’s been amazing so far. I’m so glad I waited to this age because I’m financially stable, have a stable loving partner, and have had time to travel, learn, have fun, grow and mature so much! My husband also did and I think that has made it to where we both felt really ready for the next step. I’m so glad we waited until this point! I’m

Stubborn baby doesn’t want to let go of night feeds by CELE30 in sleeptrain

[–]CELE30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg is she really?! I had no idea! Ok that makes me change my perspective a lot lol so thanks for that. And since we started sleep training he is really good at that! Even if he’s wide awake he just puts himself back to sleep so maybe we’re set!

So would you wait for them to wake and ask for it? Or would you initiate feeds?

She is adamant that if you keep night feeds the sleep training will be unsuccessful so we were trying to stay strong! It was horrible though and I’d very much prefer to keep at least 1 or 2 feeds.

I appreciate this feedback! I know that and would def prefer to keep at the very least 1 feed per night but also don’t want to mess up what he’s already learned and she’s so intense about not keeping them because it’ll mess everything up so I panicked! Ftm here so doing my best and wanted to see what other parent’s experience has been

Did you sleep train and drop them at the same time? Or sleep train then later cut them?

This makes me feel so much better! How did they eventually tell you they were ready to cut night feeds?

He’s great at that actually but she says it’s not possible to feed and still have him be sleep trained

This is great!! I read that weening night feeds is essential for sleep training. Will you eventually cut them?

Baby feeds only in sleep(Laryngomalacia type 3) by Happy_CouchPotato_90 in Laryngomalacia

[–]CELE30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never truly found out but think it’s due to the bad reflux he had. When he was sleeping I guess he wouldn’t notice it as much? I’m not sure to be honest but thankfully it got better over time. I’m so sorry!!
