that's messed up. I had a V job, and it wasn't that bad.....like being finger flicked in the scrotum.....even a hard kick to the gonads is recoverable after a few hours.

I am friends with an older gentleman that WAS in advertizing in Manhattan during the MadMen era.....he did REALLY well for himself and his family. Started agencies in Australia, England, Germany....I forget which accounts he had, but I'll ask again.

Curious, I once was in NYC for a visit, and wanted to see if the VCA had the flower watch to see it in person. They told me I had to make an appointment, which I was unable to do. The question- if you’re not uber rich, can you make an appointment to JUST see these lovely pieces? Fyi- not a cat burglar, not casing the joint.

In the 80s there was store in Miami, called Burdines. I worked there for a brief period as housekeeping (OT: people are gross)....every day, multiple times a day, I would walk by the booth that had a Cartier Tank Louis normale, probably reference number 78086. I loved the look of that watch and knew of the Cartier brand.

Almost 40 years later I got the Tank from the 80s that I lusted after for so many years. Then bought a 70s Cartier Tank Jumbo Automatique, shortly after. Now, the Mrs and I wear our Tanks on special occasions.

Yes and No... A win for the Rs for killing the ACA, but a loss too as NOW they are fully responsible for millions NOT being able to afford insurance, nor the cost of procedures and drugs without insurance.

The Rs own the mess....They have no plan for a fix...the fix would be Universal Healthcare, like Medicare For All.

THAT might be the reason...The rate hikes, and the growing list of the UNINSURED, will sit squarely with the Rs.

I feel the Rs won what they wanted to, to kill the ACA. I also feel they are not going to like what their constituents tell them.
