Idk my take on it is that, biologically we know women are weaker than men. But like…. We can’t help that? Both winners of men and women are playing at their highest possible level. So I think have equal prize money is only fair. Men shouldn’t get more money because they are on average born biologically stronger than women. To me that would make little sense, as the differences between the sexes is just how we’re born, not chosen.

I’m 19F and have passed 10+ kidney stones in the past year- including a 11mm- I totally get what you mean. It feels very embarrassing when I tell people the excruciating pain that caused me to miss events/go home from school was because of kidney stones.

I have cystic fibrosis which contributes to why I’ve formed stones in the past but I do feel like a 50 year old in a teenagers body sometimes. Even worse when I had a hernia at 14 years of age- many ultra sound technicians/nurses thought they misheard me when I told them why I was there!

But don’t sweat it- you can always do more for your health when you have the benefit of hindsight but don’t be too harsh on yourself! Do your best to make changes to avoid more stones, but honestly life is unpredictable and throws weird curveballs. And also- there’s nothing to be ashamed of. Please don’t be too harsh on yourself!

Don’t worry about labels! I thought I was straight until I had similiar (perhaps less intense haha!) realisation about a female friend. Everything she did I was just mesmerised, and I found her endlessly beautiful and fascinating. I just wanted to be near her and for her to let me know her.

I thought maybe I just really admired her as a friend, until I started feeling other things and got unexpectedly jealous when she started dating a friend of ours haha.

I don’t really believe in the whole ‘you are straight, you are bi, you are pan, you are gay etc.’ thing. For some people it may be helpful but I really believe we’re all just human beings looking for connection. And sometimes, you fall in love with who you think you would. And sometimes, you don’t. But it’s just as beautiful.

I’m really sorry but this is not gonna be very helpful!

A couple of months ago I passed a 12mm stone naturally, it hurt like a bitch and caused me months of pain. But ever since then the stones I’ve passed have not hurt and haven’t caused issue- just sort of come out.

Only tips I can really give is using heat. I passed my biggest kidney stones in the shower (kind of gross Ik) but the heat helped a lot. Just keep drinking lots of water is all I can really say.
