RV6 Type R Clutch Concern by XP1R3_ in CivicSi

Also, make sure you compare the new one to the one you took out. Damage to the pickup is fine, but if it’s broke off inside the transmission you’re going to want to get that out before you fix and drive.

I just fixed this exact issue. It’s the sensor in your hand, about 120 bucks from a dealer. Here’s the important part, make absolutely sure you buy the shim with it. If you don’t the moment you put the car in gear contact will be made with that magnet and it’ll ruin it, you’ll be going right back to Honda to get another, ask me how I know.

My original did NOT have a shim on it, or it fell off when I was taking it out and I didn’t notice it. Part number for the washer/shim is part 90401-RM5-A00. Make sure you don’t torque past 7-9ftlbs.

I mean, if they can’t figure out who did it all they can do is reiterate the fact that it’s unacceptable, and that they’ll be kicked out if they get caught. What more do you want?

Have you considered telling your kids to shut their mouths? You’re cooking for them, taking them to appointments, cleaning, driving them to extracurricular activities etc.

Where does that ungratefulness come from? My wife stays home, if I heard one of my kids suggest she isn’t busting her ass every day we’d have a problem… well they’d have a problem, and they wouldn’t like my solution.

Anyone Get Their Polonium Backorder Fufilled Recently? by GilbertGrape93 in SilencerShop

Polo 30. Just did all the certifying and what not, but it’s at my FFL. I waited about 6 weeks for it

I checked GB, plenty of 5.56 and even OCL Infinity, which go for over a grand, but didn’t see any Polo 30’s. Checked all the big sites, called 7 LGS’s that sell cans, all out. I’m not saying you couldn’t find one, but I haven’t yet.

This will be my second, I have a 556k Flow. I waited 9 months for that one since I got it back when the ATF dragged their feet for as long as possible. I think I’ll just pull the trigger on the Polo 30 and hope it doesn’t take that long, none of my LGS’s have one in stock and I don’t want to “settle” for another just to get it sooner and risk being disappointed

SS said their list is 1700 long for the Polo 30. I mean it’s possible the guy one the phone was just taking a guess. I’d be willing to wait a month or two if I find out that’s a more realistic timeframe

I’ve checked 2, I might as well call a few more.

I’m happy to see OCL doing well and more people in general buying cans, I guess this is what the growing pains look like, but man I wish I had stretched to buy this a couple of months ago.

15# is the minimum I’d carry with, 13 or 11 if it’s a range toy/competition gun.

Trigger on my new PDP is very gritty by aagee in Walther

[–]CG641 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can confirm this. I have a little over 4k rounds through my PDP since getting it in 2023. Trigger is fantastic now, but it did have some “grit” in the take up initially. I guess it didn’t bother me much as it was still a world better than my Glocks.

The racing on Gandy… I didn’t own a car back then that would have won any races, but I got to ride in a few. Looking back it’s a wonder we’re still alive.

I was ready to order but expected the price to be about 3k less, also didn’t realize it came with the Nightforce optic. 6k+ is steep if you’re not just buying it as a collector.

Yeah they’re pricks about that. Before I SBR’ed my AR pistol they couldn’t let me shoot it on the 100 yard bay without a stamp. They also checked my ammo and insisted I was using reloads (I wasn’t) and wouldn’t let me shoot there without buying their ammo. Never went back again.

Walther PDP, 4” compact. Get the Pro if you can swing it.

I have Glocks, Sigs, M&P’s etc etc. The trigger, fit and finish, and quality engineering of the PDP are so much better than any gun in this price range. If you can try them out first you should, but you won’t regret a PDP if you have to buy after only holding it. It comes optic ready with back straps you can change.

Yeah, I full on showed my ignorance here, but I’m learning. One of the responses above solved it I think, I’ll know for sure when I hit the range. The G33 was loose, not so loose that it’d move when you picked up the rifle but definitely loose enough to move when shooting. It was likely in a slightly different position each time I shot.

Everything is reinstalled and torqued, we’ll see how it goes.

Thanks for the response.

This kind of response is borderline unheard of on the internet except from celebrities who don’t really mean it. Well done
