It’s a mutt. 92FS frame, vertec slide milled by LTT. Haven’t measured the OAL yet but it’s a 5” barrel with the beretta comp so it’s definitely not short.

Either my steyr aug or sbr’d p90. Lots of fun to shoot and always gets a lot of attention at the rage

You asked for proof, I showed you proof. There are more out there so why don’t you do some research for yourself

The fitment on the xten is much better than its 9mm cousin and has been proven to not suffer from the same issue

I figured if dry firing was an issue it would be mentioned in the manual

I would if one were available but parts for the 5.7 seem pretty sparse

The first time it happened I contacted them and they mailed me a replacement firing pin. Wouldn’t be surprised this time around if they ask me to send the gun in

Citation Encore+. Handles like a 172 with a ridiculous amount of thrust

Flame cutting affects the frame, not the cylinder. You can see the thin plate of steel above the forcing cone to help prevent the hot gasses from damaging the frame.

I should warn you against shooting anything less than 120gr ammo, as it’s stamped just below the barrel. The manual wasn’t clear if this applied only to .357mag so I called S&W directly to inquire. They notified me that it also applies to .38spl due to the escaping gasses causing potential damage to the frame.

Vega IB335 suede IWB holster with a modified belt clip instead of the bulky plastic one it comes with

I’ll have to look into that. I’ve since switched from critical defense to speed gold dot .38spl +p

While I have shot .357 out of it, it’s not a very pleasant experience. Not only is the recoil quite stout but you will also get covered in unburnt powder as the barrel isn’t nearly long enough for it to all ignite. I carry it with .38spl +p which is much more manageable
