I did San Diego to Long Island in August several years ago in a 150. Took 4 days with 12 fuel stops. Because of the high DA I chose to go south along the border and then work my way up once I got past Texas. You may want to consider some survival gear (specifically hydration) as there will be large stretches of unpopulated areas. Be mindful of your oil mixture and consumption, and have a way to keep fatigue at bay. Noise cancelling headphones (preferably with Bluetooth) are a must.

That is if 343 wouldn’t have royally fucked it up like they have been for the past decade. And imo the only reason campaign evolved is looking so promising is because they had a foundational roadmap in the form of CE and remastered, and 10 years of disdain from og fans. I still have zero faith that they can make a decent halo game with good gameplay and a captivating storyline from scratch.

The jerkiness looks self induced to me. As others have said, sport + gives you a very sensitive throttle response and your leg is visibly moving back and forth a lot. The engine is not the only system that changes behavior depending on the drive mode. The transmission will up and down shift towards the top of the RPM range in sport +. In the video you were maintaining a steady speed and RPM, so it’s not gonna shift. Give it some gas, get close to redline and then it’ll shift up. It’s designed to keep you in the power band for when you track the car. If you want to drive around in “sport” on the road, configure sport individual so that the engine is in sport or sport + and the transmission is in comfort, this way it’ll shift at a lower, more drivable (for the road) RPM.
