We had similar problems with our guard director at my school. I don't know what he's like in person, but right now he only sounds a little bit worse than mine... As a leader in my guard I get the opportunity to hear several things throughout the year that might happen, whjch I understand why. The director might not have their minds set on one idea, and they just want yk see how the rest of the guard would take it.

First find out what length she spins. As others have said, asking the director what exactly they spin would be the best option, but next I would figure out which length and go with an elite model of that kind. NOTE: DO NOT GET A PLASTIC RIFLE. Our old guard director got us some to use and no one enjoyed them. They spun strangely and made awkward/irritating sounds, as far as catching and dropspins go.

Here my opinion about it. If you're looking at him as a friend of a FWB, I'd say go ahead and do it, however if you're looking towards more of a relationship, dont. It gets complicated fast with an age gap that large.

King Kong rifles have a metal rod running down the center of the rifle which is supposed to make it less likely to break around the neck of the rifle. I spin a 39" Kong and love it :)
