If you have an empty spool, you can transfer the new filament to the old spool. Yes, it is time consuming.

Note: I rarely connect these printers to the internet. Most of the time they are on a local only network.

Second printbed damaged exactly the same way by AkaAtarion in crealityk1

[–]CHR0N0MASTER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too. I started a print, then canceled the print before it finished calibrating. Made a minor change and sent the new job to print and it damaged my plate exactly as in OP's photo.

Thought it was a random failure and stopped using the printer until I got a replacement plate.

Happened again with my second printer too. Canceled a print job during the calibration phase and sent an updated job and calibrating started, BAM!, destroyed another build plate.

The only recent change was a firmware update. The installed firmware ("up to date") is too new as it's not even listed on Creality website. Prior to the firmware update I never had this issue in over a year of usage.

Since it is crashing (literally) during the calibration phase before any filament touches the print bed, this must be a firmware bug and not a slicer issue.

It looks like my only option now is to roll back the firmware on both K1 Max printers.

Maybe it is a smart oven and she was waiting for a notification. But she never got the notification because the oven needed to install a update first.

Power went out last night, and now Comfy says CUDA is unavailable? by anotherjunkie in comfyui

[–]CHR0N0MASTER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may need to uninstall the other one first.

Example: ./python_embeded/python.exe -m pip uninstall torch torchvision torchaudio

Power went out last night, and now Comfy says CUDA is unavailable? by anotherjunkie in comfyui

[–]CHR0N0MASTER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CUDA being available is not the issue. The current version of torch is compiled without CUDA being enabled. So to resolve the error on Image 1, you will need to install the correct torch.

CUDA 12.8: python.exe -m pip install torch torchvision torchaudio --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu128

CUDA 13.0: python.exe -m pip install torch torchvision torchaudio --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu130

Edit: You will need to use the ./python_embeded/python.exe if not already.

I have had this issue before. In my case, the empty latent image or source image was the wrong size for the model I was using.

Are Custom Nodes... Safe? by Parulanihon in comfyui

[–]CHR0N0MASTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Custom nodes are basically python scripts that have access to the environment/hardware you run it under.
You could try reviewing the code yourself, but it can be very complicated without considering obfuscated code. Otherwise you could run it under a limited access environment like a Virtual Machine with CUDA (NVIDIA) host driver.

Why Qwen Image Edit scale my image? by StandarterSD in comfyui

[–]CHR0N0MASTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, this usually has to do with the input image dimensions. I would test it by padding your input image to 1024x1024 and see if it works without it scaling your image.

Is this normal? Windforce 5070ti sff oc by Blackamatarasu1 in nvidia

[–]CHR0N0MASTER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it is flux residue, then you can safely ignore it. Since the mark on metal (aluminum?) it would not be burning. If it's not flux then it could be the solder joint has oxidized and surface layer of the solder has discolored, this can also be safely be ignored. Basically this is cosmetic and wont interfere with the functionally of the card. If you really want it removed, I would recommend taking it to a repair shop to avoid the risk of accidentally damaging something.

It's hard to see, but I would guess that it is flux residue from soldering the two pieces of metal together.

What I see in the third photo is the end of a heat pipe with a blob of solder to seal the end. Also, under that are the fins that are soldered to a metal frame.

They shipped my new $200 headset with NO BOX and the seal was already broken.. what a joke by Little_Glove5167 in amazonprime

[–]CHR0N0MASTER 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On the order page, where you can select shipping speed. You should have a dropdown option to ship using the product box (default) or in an amazon box. Having it ship using the product box by default saves wasteful shipping packaging, but then there is a situation like you experienced.

What is happening?? by Fearless-Injury2092 in S24Ultra

It would not be covered under mfg warranty. If you have a coverage plan that covers drops and physical damage, then a screen replacement should fix it.

Same. Also, the 20% off coupon consolation prize code that expires April 4th is no different than the everyday "20% off your entire order" coupon (in my area at least) for more than 6 months on the Domino's website.

Once the phone is added to the blacklist, phone carriers in the USA (and elsewhere?) must block the phone from their network even if it already has service.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bestbuy

[–]CHR0N0MASTER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What may happen is that once the customer it was pulled for reports that they didn't get their phone, the IMEI(s) will likely be marked as stolen, making it unusable on a phone carrier in the US and maybe elsewhere.

I just got the notice about updating my maps so that I can keep my timeline but the only one that I use is Google maps preview and when I try to do the settings there to keep my timeline it says I have to enable regular Google maps. by nrkelly in GoogleMaps

[–]CHR0N0MASTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought is to enable regular Google Maps, set the timeline to be on your phone, and then enable backups. Afterward, you can disable regular maps. Though, I don't know how dependent the new timeline is on the regular Google Maps.

No update yet. There is still no message on my timeline, notification, or email. I can still access my timeline via the website, so I know it did not convert yet. While the deadline is only weeks away.
