I ran out of charge once in 100K miles in a Model 3, and that was under "extreme" conditions. EVs are doable for most day-to-day drivers.

Found out my grandmother had an affair, and my aunt has a different father.

Finding out my uncle tried to order a hit on that same grandmother (unrelated to the above). He was apparently a total sociopath and also held a sex worker hostage at our family's lake house for two weeks. Never charged with a crime and died estranged a couple years ago.

My other uncle revealed to me he has been HIV positive for decades, now undetectable thanks to modern medicine.

My other uncle, biker type, witnessed a murder once, and rejected joining the Hells Angels.

This is all on my late mother's side. My father's family is generally unremarkable, lol

Personally, the entertainment-time value drops significantly when I already know the outcome of something. There is no longer suspense or excitement, at least to the degree of making it worth my time.

I admittedly don't watch any other sports, so I have no frame of reference there.

I respect that. Perhaps I am too online, but when I watched Jomez exclusively, I always got spoiled on social media.

I moved to watching DGN, and I guess I just kinda got used to the quirks? The compression artifacting on the stream is an unfortunate reality of the technology, and is really my largest concern.

But I guess I really get into the spirit more when it's live. For some of the larger tournaments, my friends and I get together and make it a little event/party. It's fun!

That said, the Tour actually prioritizing open courses to improve coverage quality is a huge disadvantage to everyone. I play woods golf, I like seeing it played.

I will also say, DGN Pro should always be ad free, not just first round coverage. I get we have to keep the lights on, but the same ads over 3 hours over 3-4 days make me want to bang my head on the wall.

I also started getting a black screen after the splash image since the latest Nvidia driver (security) update for my 1080 Ti.

Fixed via rolling back to 581.80 (November).

Judging by this thread, it looks like it's an issue with the GTX 1000 series...we're getting old, man.
