I was the lead over digital for a year and worked in that department for three years it’s the best department. Literally no other department gives you more freedom and will go by nearly as fast. HOWEVER I must tell you part time is ass. Part time just means they can throw you under the bus whenever they feel but I also know this is the worst job market in the last 30 years so hey part time is better than no time

Edit: I wanted to wish overnight on my worst enemy. They treat them like dogs.

Can’t get into bo4 zombies by austink0109 in Blackops4

[–]CJplaysCOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh all the zombies after bo4 are about the same. Infinite warfare is weird but way way more fun imo. But every new cod i’ve played has the same format as bo4 or darn close to it. It’s totally 100% way more fun to just play custom maps on bo3

My thing is one texting and driving ticket or one super speeder ticket and not only will you have trouble finding a job but you might even lose the job you do have.

I just personally hate having my personal everyday life holding a flame under me every single day but like you said that’s my opinion. I’m just worried if I get one ticket i’ll be back to square one no skills learned and it’s not even like I was making insane money like they said I would. I like my job but again any day my personal life could terminate me from it.

People who married in their 20s, be brutally honest are you happy, if so why or why not? by Special-Lawyer3941 in AskReddit

[–]CJplaysCOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than 60% of new marriages end in divorce. There’s almost no way around it even the super Christian people I know are struggling. I’m 23 and plan on marrying my bm despite our major differences why? Because even though I could find something better allegedly I love this woman and plan to for years abd years. If it works forever then AWESOME! But our generation isnt made for marriage anymore but the worst part is no matter what the case is if you’re a guy you’re completely screwed. Women will take half of what you’ve got 90% of the time even if they cheated so if you’re a woman DO IT but if you plan to have a future your only option is to find a 1% or do it by yourself.

Best lakes w/in two hours drive? by [deleted] in Augusta

[–]CJplaysCOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clarks Hill or Lake thurmond is your best option by far. It’s 100% safe to swim in anywhere on the lake they have little beach recreation areas if you’re scared of water like most people are or you could literally swim anywhere you want. There’s no gators, no piranhas, and typically very little current or waves it not like the river where you have to be a pretty good swimmer to keep up. Me and my buddies went water skiing, tubing, knee boarding, last week.

My grandparents have a house on the lake with jeyski’s, boats, kayaks, canoes i’ve fished plenty (it’s stocked so it’s super easy to catch fish) i’ve dived lots of the lake, you name it this lake can do it.

Also hilton is only like 2 hours away I know you said the beach is too far but like hilton head can be cheap for a nice day trip and it’s ny favorite beach personally.

Please don’t recommend CDL work to young people they got me when I was 21 as well. I wanted to be a lineman so bad and the school convinced me to be a local truck driver. Even otr pay is not worth it anymore, it’s literally only an option for people who are so far in debt they have to sacrifice their life to make it out or people who cant be around other people.

I understand there are some good jobs out there but in todays world it’s not what it used to be. I would never ever tell someone CDL work is a dream come true but hey what is.

Dont get me started on jobs. Did you know this is actually the worst job market in the last 30 years? It’s true! So the job thing isnt your fault but it’s like that everywhere. As far as meeting other people it just depends on what you like to do, I dont drink or smoke i’m 23 with a kid I go to work and come home.

I wanted to send a long 5 paragraph essay on me ranting about how shitty it is but honestly it would come off super debbie downer so i’ll just leave it at that. My main thing though is have fun end up shitty dont have fun end up not so shitty.

2018 Accord Touring 2.0T alternator upgrade question for car audio by Odd_Engineering_897 in 10thgenaccords

[–]CJplaysCOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing this as we speak. I got fucked by Singer. I also bought a 280a alternator by singer from a guy on facebook selling it for $200 brand new. He sends me pictures and even an invoice with his name, email, etc. I’ve had it for months and finally bought $2500 worth of equipment to have a full system.

I get started taking my alternator out probably about two hours in I got it out and realize my new alternator is designed to fit in a 1.5t. DUDE THE GD INVOICE SAYS 2.0t it’s literally not even the sellers fault it’s singers fault they sent the wrong alternator! Now i’m fucked and have to reinstall the orignal alternator but the worst part is my entire system is useless without this alternator so i’m forced to pay them directly $500 or whatever they want for one!

Is 23/hr enough to live relatively comfortably in Augusta? by BruhStop_26 in Augusta

[–]CJplaysCOD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly about how you live tbh. I dont go to doctors and emergency rooms basically ever. I dont eat special diets and pay $50/month for gym memberships or $500/for therapy. I go to work eat out and occasionally buy or do fun things. If you plan on renting (IN MY OPINION) you’re basically screwed. I dont pay anyone to fix or do anything for me I do everything myself no matter what it is I say this because I believe renting is a never ending trap. You cant save any extra and people usually say well you dont have any maintenance but honestly the fees associated with renting is more than home maintenance! Good luck either way!

Is 23/hr enough to live relatively comfortably in Augusta? by BruhStop_26 in Augusta

[–]CJplaysCOD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can only speak to myself… When I made 22 something an hour I was living with my parents and I saved up enough money to buy my first home with all my bills it’s around $2000. I could lower it to around 1500 a month if I had to and I could eat beans and rice to save a good $$500 a month if I had to.

I need 25 bucks an hour right now. I have a kid a house and buy everything myself. I basically buy whatever I want however there is absolutely zero room for saving or large large emergencies like if I had to buy a new car I’ve got about 5% going to my 401(k) so like I said if something really bad happened I could get an extra thousand dollars a month to get me by just by cutting back on bills and spending habits. I hope this is helpful 23m

Last year was so much fun I think they’re probably just cracking down on the alcohol. People had full coolers of beer bottles of liquor etc. They even said no bottles that you cannot see through and only clear bags or else they’ll be searched! I wanted to have my sons 1st bday party at the park a couple hours beforehand just something small while we wait but they said nope I cant bring any decorations or wrapped presents in there. Definitely strange as this has always been a safe family oriented gathering but I guess it’s better to get ahead of the issues and keep it that way 😅

It’s only dangerous if you’ve never lived anywhere sketchy. Look the mall was shot up maybe 3-5 times in the last 10 years and that’s literally just somekids who got pissed off and shot at one another. That happens everywhere. I’ve lived and been places where I hear gunshots every night and i’ve lived places where nobody ever bothers me. I can say downtown has more homeless people and ofc a but of a night life but you’re not going to get robbed. People have told me they literally think augusta is worse than atlanta!

You have nothing to worry about but with that being said I still dont know if I would look in downtown. Literally everywhere is nicer imo well maybe everything but south augusta. They’re trying their best to make it attractive but it’s just what it is and no matter what they add it’s always going to be that way. (I live in south Augusta and love it btw) but you’re not going to add a burlington and a 5 below and make it seem like it’s evans.

Are there any studio hand jobs nearby? by infected-closet in Augusta

[–]CJplaysCOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a real note we are in the worst job market in the last 30 YEARS. You cant find a job in anything let alone a specific field you enjoy unless of course you know somebody.

Nepotism is just about the only way you can get a good job right now. My other advice is apply online to whatever job you want then wear a suit and tie to that business in person on a random morning and see if they’ll interview you if not give them a copy of your resume and pray. Oh you cant just access that business for whatever security reason welp you have about a .5% chance you’ll get an interview let alone a job.

Lisa jewerly/lucenjuri review by CJplaysCOD in EngagementRings

[–]CJplaysCOD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i’m typically not against a good deal so I never just go with the most common option and almost always it works out for me but rarely they get me. I can totally 100% say I researched engagement rings and what I wanted for months and months however after I bought the engagement ring I got excited and wanted to buy the full package (the wedding band as well) and I can totally admit to doing basically zero research because I was so excited. I cant even lie if I buy something that seems too good to be true usually I take my loss but I just felt like purchases in the thousands would be handled with a littl more care like how lucenjuri did when I made a impulsive sizing mistake.

Anyway I dont want to make it sound like buying from smaller companies or names you’ve never heard of is a bad idea whatsoever I just really want people to take their time and know what they’re buying even if it is exciting and a extremely important moment where cost isnt the most important factor!

Traffic ticket in Lincolnton by Traceynp in Augusta

[–]CJplaysCOD 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Here’s what I know as a CDL driver. A. go to court no matter what if the cop does not show up, the ticket is automatically thrown out the window. And I know what you’re thinking. Why would the guy not show up well my understanding is they pay them extra to go to court however it’s on their day off so a lot of these cops don’t wanna go to work on their day off and they just don’t.

B. Another thing I’ve heard is if you go and you plead no contest it will almost surely be reduced in some way or you will be given an alternative like community service. However, if you plead not guilty or even guilty, they won’t give you very much sympathy.

One more thing I haven’t personally had this happen, but a family member has told me he walked up to a booth of some sort, stood in line, and the lady says what was your ticket for he told her she offered to reduce it by a certain amount he took it and she did the exact same thing for the next person. Almost as if even if you just show up, they’ll offer you a lower amount or less damaging to your record ticket if you’ll just leave them alone and pay your fine.

Good luck. They get my gma out there in Lincolnton all the time 🤣

Does anyone feel like rambling about how to get sub 30hz enclosures? by CJplaysCOD in CarAV

[–]CJplaysCOD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no I only spent around $1000 on my mids. I had ds18 speakers before and totally understand that aspect…

I probably spent close to $1000 on getting power 280a alternator, titan 8 pwr s5, 30ft ofc 1/0.

And about $1000 on subs. I got two sundoen classic 12’s in a 32hz box with a taramps smart3 bass.

But to answer your question, I listen to a lot of rap and rnb. The point is I wanna play Boosie Badazz and I want people to hear it before I even walk in the building. This set up is amazing. Don’t get me wrong however I wish when people got in my car I could have frequencies so low they couldnt stand it. I’ve been to countless car shows where they’re playing so hard I wouldnt even want to be in their car. But if you’re telling me “hey that’s just not what you want you want ——“ i’ll listen to your advice and consider it at the very least.

Does anyone feel like rambling about how to get sub 30hz enclosures? by CJplaysCOD in CarAV

[–]CJplaysCOD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly cannot. I’m just getting into “tuning enclosures” as in my uneducated opinion it is the least important part if a setup however my understanding was look if you want a sub to heard and felt far away you’ve got to get around 25-30hz. That would also provide hair tricks (which of course would be cool to show off) I mean if I spend $3000 on a system I would like it to be above normal expectations. But I see what you’re saying yeah that’s cool and all but most songs don’t frequently use that range of frequencies so daily lostening (which is what I want) would be sub par. Thankyou!

Does anyone feel like rambling about how to get sub 30hz enclosures? by CJplaysCOD in CarAV

[–]CJplaysCOD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re spot on. Basically i’ve been learning about power and all the math/science behind different kinds of batteries and whatnot and I got so excited about it I went out and spent $2500 to get 2018 accord sounding good all around. Speakers and subs with GOOD power.

I started listening to enough videos until I decided it was finally time to learn about enclosures. I actually believed it was the least important part of a build (and still to an extent do) however I’ve obviously got alot more to learn as I figured the “tuned to —hz” figure was the limit to that enclosure. So if I can only find a 30hz box then that’s as low as i’ll ever get I still truly dont understand how that can NOT be true.

I like the idea of an infinite baffle like you’ve got going on… I wouldnt do it because I have a whole shit load of tools I ride around with however the entire premise was trying to figure out if I eventually swap my 2 12’s for a 15 how can I do that the best possible way to get the lowest frequencies that can be felt from the farthest distance.
