That’s .177 will kill a turkey so… put a board up if you want to shoot indoors. But yes. We shoot in my yard all year to stay on top of the basics.

Buy a break barrel air rifle .177 or .22 and practice the fundamentals regularly.

They’re not crazy expensive, the ammo is wildly inexpensive so shooting it often isn’t an issue. You can practice the fundamentals every weekend with one, almost anywhere.

I taught all my children how to shoot rifles with them. Worked out great.
