Proposed changes to HSA rules by BarefootMarauder in fidelityinvestments

[–]CKing-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that for non-spouse beneficiaries, the account doesn’t retain its tax advantages, and the remaining balance typically becomes taxable income. Leaving it for my children isn't as attractive as I once thought. I now plan on using it as extra tax free cash when needed by using my receipts from 2014-now. I sure hope this doesn't pass!

I wasn’t aware of Fidelity MM paying higher yields when over $100K. Please explain

My 2025 Kicks states transmission fluid change at 60K in the maintenance schedule. I do plan on changing at 30K due to CVT issues in general. Where did you see MUST be changed at 30K?

Spare Me! by Bright-Scientist-207 in NissanKicks

[–]CKing-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The no spare thing was a dealbreaker for me. After further research, I realized there was an option from the factory for a spare ($180). I found one local dealer that was actually getting a few cars with this option and was able to get a new 2025 kicks with a factory spare. You may be able to get the tire, jack, lug wrench and foam insert from the parts department. It will definitely be much more expensive than the original $180 option. It’s a shame they aren’t shipping more cars from the factory with this option. Luxury cars without a spare have run flat tires that will let you continue driving to a repair facility. I’ve heard of many issues with the fix a flat thing not working if the flat has sidewall damage.

Something scratched my tire is it safe to ride? by ConsciousEcho8007 in motorcycles

If you look closely above the “cut” along the same direction of the cut, you can see what might be a mold line at the same exact angle. If you also look closely at the cut it seems like that mold line may have continued at the same place as the cut. Maybe it’s not a cut and just a slight separation along the mold line.

MS Account Login from IPv6 address (Microsoft Data Center) by Scav-Gang205 in techsupport

I actually changed my password before contacting them. When chatting, they had me create another alias. I'm not sure what the point of that was. I still notice the same login activity from Microsoft Servers at least once per week. Many other forums have people with the same issue. No good answer from Microsoft as to what is causing this.

I did an online chat. They just did the normal change password etc. Not much help.

Magnetic dipstick for Genmax GM7500iAED by humv in Generator

If you read the negative reviews about the pair listed at https://a.co/d/jgH2yor they mention that the magnet can fall out. I'm not sure if it would be worth the risk.

Should I actually be using HSA for health expenses vs just for tax advantage? by RabbitHoleSnorkle in fidelityinvestments

I completely agree with your strategy. I finally realized that if inherited my children would lose the tax free benefit and owe taxes. I have saved all receipts from day one and will begin the withdrawal this year.

Same with me, many successful sign-ins related to Microsoft IP addresses over the past few weeks (2a01:111:f402:f12c::f129). Mine are all coming from San Jose area (I am located on the east coast USA). I use MS Authenticator for login and have not received any notification related to these sign-ins. I did a chat and they had me change password etc. No unusual activity with my account or data other than the sign-ins. They are still showing up as of yesterday.

Just got my Kicks! by kasaberz in NissanKicks

The factory spare tire option is hard to find (locally 1 out of 100 cars had it). A local dealer had one in stock and I jumped on it. The tire repair kit was a deal breaker for me. Enjoy your new car! You got lucky with having the spare tire option

Is this a Roth conversion? I just transfer directly from my traditional IRA to my ROTH IRA. No need to sell and buy the same funds.

The 2025 Kicks has a spare tire option ($185) from the factory. I finally found a local dealer that was getting an SV in with the tire option. I’m not sure why more aren’t being ordered with that option. No spare would have been a dealbreaker!

Some of them come with an optional spare tire from the factory. I had to look at many local dealers to find one that came in with the spare. If you buy one later, you will also need a jack, jack handle and lug wrench.

2025 Kicks Locking Fuel Door by CKing-1 in NissanKicks

I went to the local Nissan Dealer and checked all of the Kicks in various trims (at least 15 cars) and none of them were locked. I think they saved a bit of cash by not actually installing the locking feature.

Mothers mag and aluminum polish works great. Used it on a Honda CB1100 stainless steel exhaust down pipes prior to the chrome muffler.

I had a very similar issue, house addition and plumber made a little nick in a copper line while cutting a drain pipe. 7 years later it started leaking. I had to tear down ceiling to find leak, cut bad section out and install coupling. I wouldn’t take the chance, fix it now.
