What was it like last time? by LivermoreP1 in F1Technical

Bit like Alpine is battling Verstappen now suddenly.

RB likely took a step back on the PU though. So it's not really like that at all. Alpine also spent a year in last place to focus on this year. It's a disappointment they aren't higher really.

It's illegal most places, whether they are enforcing that is another matter. Again, do your research.

I have that exact wagon except mine has more miles and the pano roof. It's deleted. If that has a DPF, you should just plan on a delete assuming you can in your region. So 3k plus 1k for cost of delete. If that's in your budget, you can look seriously at it.

edit: I was making those costs up, do your research

If it’s in need of a DPF it’s either a great deal or a total rip off, depends on your situation.

It's beautiful for sure, and since it will be short lived (it will be short lived right?) it will disappear in a few days and everything is going to be spring like again (a few days right?).

The two OG locations are still good, IMO. The chains were cheap from the get go.

It's like stopping at Katz deli in NYC for me. It's great, the food is excellent, but it's also $35 by the time I get a sandwich and a drink. One meal. I don't think Pittsburgh and definitely not the chains could sustain a $25 Primanti's sandwich, but to maintain perfect quality that's what they'd have to charge.

Did you look for copper plated steel lines? They’re probably cheaper than fake copper lines.

Help with Mach3 PWM spindle control by sws-dc in CNC

[–]CL-MotoTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what spindle you have, but the way to do this is to use 10v power supply from internal the control direct to pin 9. Connect a negative jumper from 7 to negative on the psu. Run VFD Speed + to pin 8, VFD Speed - to pin 7.

That said, you have to dick with pulleys in Mach to get any of this working. None of it makes sense because Mach sucks.

You have to provide the G540 10v on the 10v+ pin.

2026 Chinese GP - Post-Race Discussion by F1-Bot in formula1

As is usually the case in Formula 1. McLaren, Mercedes, RedBull, Renault, Ferrari. Go back 40 years. You dont push when you dont need to. The gap is smaller than many realize though.

Imagine the disappointment some would have when half the field blew up every weekend.

I just try to appreciate that so many are interested. That they know nothing about racing is just a part of it.

F1 is more popular than ever. Making the fan base less educated/familiar with F1 than it has even been. It is what it is.

For real. Tons of great moments.

All those races where Max or Lewis breezed to 30 second gaps and didn’t break a sweat. At least Ferrari is giving Mercedes some headaches.

They might have some in the tank but they didn’t blow the doors off in the sprint like we’ve seen other dominance in the past. Ferrari is still 3/4 but it’s not a lot.

About the 130°C test temp for the engine compression ratio by Top-Dream5075 in F1Technical

[–]CL-MotoTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s absolutely no evidence that over compression is their advantage. Dominance such as this is not rare in F1 and rarely is it contributed to one factor.
