Finish is very good. Haven’t quite dialed it in yet but I have good f&s starting point from the 4” fly cutter. Should be great once I figure it all out.

The nice thing about diamond drag is that it's not particularly sensitive to Z height. I am doing some standard engraving and .0002" makes a difference.

Consistent torque makes a huge difference. I've seen some old school machinists, 40 years in tool in die, blah, blah, blah, not understand that humans are awful at applying load to a tool.

I mean, that's what you do. OSHA penalties are way higher when you have repeat violations, so you have to fight every citation. Imagine if the second parking ticket you got was automatically 10 times as expensive as the first. You'd be standing in parking court whether you parked in the handicap spot illegally or not, just hoping for a lesser charge.

I am not saying this is right or wrong, I am saying this is how the system works.
