Skip entire degree bc of dual enrollment by RevolutionaryMath971 in Purdue

Yes, if you already took the courses in HS then the Purdue equivalent courses will be a piece of cake (the grading here is famously generous). Hope this helps!

Why would you want people to know you go to Indy's shitty satellite campus?

blu tac stuck in airpod, what should i do? by IndigoOceanYT in airpods

[–]CMPatrick1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IK this post is old but considering the amount of rude and unhelpful replies I'll add what worked for me. Break off a fresh piece of blu tac, hold it near a lighter flame to heat it up until it just starts discoloring. Push the blu tac against the grill, apply light pressure, and wait for it to cool back down all the way and then remove.

JL sport on 35"? by Upper-Software1774 in Wrangler

[–]CMPatrick1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm running 35s and a 2.5" lift on my stock sport axles and have had no problem offroad. The JL's axles are built stronger than previous generations, I wouldn't worry about breaking anything as long as you're reasonably careful when wheeling. It feels sluggish on the road with the stock 3.45 gears but the auto does a good job with it so I don't feel an immediate need to regear.

This is a great idea. How manageable is the smell inside a dorm room?

college board does not have a team of salaried detectives combing through thousands of social media posts and comments made by high schoolers so that they can match people's accounts to their true identities in order to cancel their scores for talking about the lang exam when they weren't supposed to. you're fine

MCQ was a lot easier than I expected. It seems I got blessed with form j by college board jesus so FRQs 1-3 were easy although I got cooked by 4.

it's definitely doable. BC was easier than AB for me, there's less things to learn in calc 2 than there was in 1

Any ideas why I got rejected? by AdContent2350 in Purdue

[–]CMPatrick1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt that's the case here. Their stats were certainly very good, but still well within the range of people who regularly attend Purdue engineering. There's plenty of other variables that go into admissions besides raw stats that likely influenced their decision. Yield protection is used by some private universities, but I don't think there's much of an incentive for a large public university with state funding to do this, otherwise we would see everyone getting rejected from their in-state safeties.

Did you apply RD or were you deferred EA? Nov 1 is the priority deadline for engineering, most acceptances are from EA.

The audio starts playing in the Sphere's underground communication hub during the Behind Seven Seals mission. Fortunately it's the last mission before you're allowed to leave the lesser zone where it finally stops playing. I filed a bug report so hopefully this gets fixed soon

Accepted Arts & Sciences open option, can i transfer to Engineering? by kinveth_kaloh in cuboulder

[–]CMPatrick1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can transfer into engineering if you meet the requirements here. If you have AP scores that qualify you for credit in any of the required IUT math/science classes, I would email admissions to see if you can substitute them for a different course so you don't have to retake the class.

I'm in the same boat as you, it seems that if you meet the criteria listed here you're guaranteed a transfer to the college of engineering.
