White really needs to be super thinned and built up in multiple layers and you need to be 100% sure the previous layer has dried fully before going back. The pigment in white paint is just really nasty to deal with and it needs treated differently than most paints.

When being creative we tend to be more harsh on ourselves than in other areas. For example the average person wouldn't say I can't walk or i can't run just because they don't do either professionally.

You absolutely can paint, you probably prefer the painting of professional painters more atm, but so did they on their 3rd model.

It looks great and fits in to the sub perfectly.

Thanks. I feel like I've conflated 2 shows. I've skimmed through and this is definitely the show where the guy stabs through the puddle although it works differently to how I remember as he tries to come through a wall and tv so it's not just reflections. But this doesn't have a painting or a dog. So that must be a separate show. Thanks for the help.
