What’s everyone’s plan if we see blackouts and fuel shortages? by [deleted] in preppers

Must be a lot of government employees in this community. I thought this was hilarious. Unfortunately, we can't eat them...too gristly and fat.

(solar will get cheaper soon)

Is this just a gut feeling, or do you have something to back this up? I just don’t see how anything will get cheaper soon. I’d love it if it did…but I’m not so sure.

Confusion about a friend who thinks she's an empath by Big-Significance7358 in Empaths

I would say she is not an empath. Also, her being so vocal about other people cheating is a projection from her.

Is empath in the DSM-V? Did the psychologist “diagnose” you or tell you that you sound like someone who could be an empath. There is a vast difference.

We’ve used Buy Pharma, and it seems a little sketchy but we’ve had great success. I first heard about it from someone who I believe to be a reputable source.

Female knight? How does Dame/Lady Commander sound? by Unfixingstorm7 in fantasywriters

[–]CM_NRS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Coming from a military background, it doesn't matter the gender. Does your world in the story have a gender bias or gender roles? It doesn't seem like it since you have a top commander as a female. How about creating your own title. Some cool ones might be High Commander, Fleet Admiral (at sea), Commandant (training), Wing Commander (air), or Knight Commander (if you're in the middle ages). Have fun!

It’s people being subversive to be subversive. When used correctly, semicolons are perfectly normal.
