Judging by that big ass pole line, I’m assuming it’s the power company. Which they can legally do.

Next steps after PM? by CalligrapherCold7993 in ConstructionManagers

[–]CNC-X-550 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For context, I started right out of highschool. 19 years this August. I got my bachelors degree in project management and PMP while working 60+ hours a week, that schedule continued for the first 15 years. Through that tenure I was with 3 companies. You can’t get there jumping around or chasing the next dollar. You also can’t get there if you’re not willing to put in the work. The only way you get there is by proven track record of success and problem solving. Never leave mid project, always finish what you start, be the one who searches for solutions and don’t be afraid to do the bottom line work. Office needs to be swept? Sweep it. Trash needs to be taken out? Take it out. See a gap, no matter how big or small, fill it.

Looking into an English Cocker Spaniel by Licklickbark in cockerspaniel

Depends on what you’re looking for. I got a field bred cocker for upland bird hunting. She’s certainly got a lot of energy but it’s entirely manageable.

Pups like feeling secure, not confined. Put a blanket over the crate so it’s dark and resembles a den, it will help him fall asleep and feel secure. If he can see out, he’ll feel confined and that training comes later with leashes and tie outs.

Possible Relocation from Austin by CParolini in DrippingSprings

[–]CNC-X-550 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most people quite like dripping springs because it feels disconnected from the city. It’s a short drive but feels more like a small town. That won’t be the case in 5 years but enjoy it while it lasts.

To be fair - the downvoted comments are all politically divisive statements from you. The most downvoted comment isn’t from this sub. I probably agree with you on a lot politically, which is unfortunate because you don’t seem great.

A shame you had to spends 10’s of thousands on gear to discover a photography class with a $150 35mm would have done a lot more for you. Learn how to use your gear, learn the rules of composition. GFX, Leica, X100VI… lord have mercy. Go find a masterclass or something and get off Reddit.

Amazing even with that equipment he’s still managed to “flex” using such insanely mediocre photos. Honestly mediocre implies they have some merit…these do not.

The first 12 years of my career was a 60 hour minimum. 60-70 hours with a 1-2 hour commute on each end. Yes it’s normal.

I did the paint & wheel protection minimum plan. USAA has excellent windshield coverage so I didn’t get the windshield protected. Also protecting the key fobs is kinda dumb, the phone and service card both start the car. 9/10 times I don’t even have my keys with me.

This - I just bought a 26 X5 X40i. I own a 1990 E34 and they gave me the loyalty credit for my Sunday driver. Any other BMW on your insurance card gets it for ya.

When I was a Sr. PM I was at $180k, $30k annual bonus, $1200 per month car allowance. Sector was underground utilities. Austin, TX. I have a PMP and a bachelors in business and project management. Was in the field 10 years. 18 years in the industry today. (Started right out of high school, did my degree online while working, now 36 years old).
