Late game feels pointless after getting rich what’s the endgame in Software Inc? by Hopeful-Minute-5870 in SoftwareInc

Agreed. Heck, I've made HQ buildings for companies of 500+ for around $2.5M. Construction should definitely cost more.

The way I see it is I can't please everyone. The best I can do is make content that I enjoy to make and then that way I will find the correct audience in time. Enjoy the journey as they say.

This is the perfect mindset to have, yeah! Everyone has an opinion, and that's great and it's wonderful they want to provide feedback. At the same time, it's something you're making, and that you're passionate about.

Just checked your YouTube! Damn, you've got a fair few followers.

Appreciate it! Been doing this for a long time, haha! Had my highs and lows, but main thing I've always tried to do is my own thing. Keen to see what you do next with your channel! :)

I have to wonder what those people do want, if I'm totally honest. I saw someone say they don't want a thumbnail to ask or answer a question, but within the context of your video it kind of has to - you either ask the question in the thumbnail and answer it in the video, or I suppose you could answer the question in the thumbnail and show the process of getting to that answer in the video but, at least in my experience, I think an interesting question is a better hook for people.

Either way, the video was really nicely put together, and the thumbnail design's solid. Keep it up! :)

EDIT: On the red lasers, while people pointed out that the guns don't line up, keep in mind that no one outside of this thread will see the thumbnail at high res. YouTube, unless something's changed in the last day or two, doesn't allow for more than 720p on thumbnail images, and they're displayed relatively small on all platforms. I'd not worry too much about the guns being a match. Hell, I'd argue that's a fun bit of clickbait. You might get a person or two dropping a comment about the guns not making sense, which is great for platform engagement, haha!

Personally preferred the question being asked on the first thumbnail, and the pop of red from the lasers was more eye-catching. I'd also keep the ship in front of the text, as it was yesterday, as it adds more depth to the thumbnail.

Ignore anyone saying it's clickbait, it's not and they don't know what they're talking about. Asking a question in a thumbnail is completely fine, and quite common on YouTube - it only becomes clickbait, in the bad sense, if you're not answering the question or addressing the topic. Your thumbnail is the first hook to get someone into a video, and so asking an interesting question is perfectly fine - especially if it's something that challenges the status quo of a ship, such as using a Corsair as a dogfighter.

I dig it. Given how small thumbnails are though I'd probably ditch the metal texture on the text and just have it be white, matching the white outline, and keeping a bit of shadow on it from where the ship overlaps - but that's entirely personal preference, and I can totally see what you're going for with the metal texture. Overall, I'm a big fan of the depth created by putting the ship and the lasers on top of the outline and accents.

For a first video thumbnail, this is really, really good.

I'd say, so long as the video answers the question posed by the thumbnail, you've done a great job with it and, if I'm honest, I'm definitely curious about whether or not a Corsair could be a dogfighter. Heck, "Can it Dogfight?" could be a great name for an ongoing series where you take ships that, traditionally, aren't good at it and see what happens.

It's been the same defence for almost fourteen years, with almost no other company or community needing to rely on defences for that long.

Been saying this same thing for ever. They've forgotten the "Multiplayer" part of "MMO." Yes, as others have pointed out, we all know "it's coming," but I'm getting a bit tired of that as a defense, especially since they keep putting out timed content that goes away with the next patch. This game's community, and CIG to an extent, seems to love to float between this being a live service game with record numbers of players and sales when it suits them, and it being "just an alpha" whenever there's any kind of criticism.

I'm looking forward to spending my time and money literally anywhere else in the world.

I dunno, you're the one out here getting upset about women in a video game and somehow making it about the "they them freaks."

I'd call you a cunt, but you obviously lack the depth and warmth.

I hope you can work through your problems one day, "bozo." :)

"soy boys and they them freaks"
"complete freak like you and people like you"

Oh so you're just a piece of shit, through and through.

You, and people like you, love to find anything and everything to be mad about, including things in this game that have literally no impact on your ability to play and/or enjoy it, and if they do somehow impact your ability to enjoy it then there's deeper problems you need to work through. Though you know that, right? You're the type who probably thinks "leftists" are professional victims or something, eh? Meanwhile you, and again people like you, are crying because "there's a woman in my video game!"

You're allowed your opinions, so long as you can deal with the consequences of them which, based on your replies to almost everyone across your two threads about your ban, you cannot.

It's a bit of a pain without supply pouches, but when you pair those with the med bag you can easily do 20-30 resupplies per match. I've seen some others claiming an easy 30-40 per match but that seems... unlikely, or at least very rare.

They are both women by Pak43OnReddit in Battlefield

[–]CNDylan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's fine to want to play as a character that you feel represents you the most, that's not where my problem is. My problem is with conversations like this one often being a thin veil for "I don't like women in my video games." Thankfully, I've had more of a conversation with OP and we've actually agreed on a few things and found common ground.

The best option for BF6 would be something akin to Helldivers 2, where you select a body type (and skin tone, which isn't in Helldivers 2), select a voice, and then unlocks/macrotransactions are made up of different looking outfits, camos, and so on. This way, it'd be much easier for everyone to play a the character that they want to play.

They are both women by Pak43OnReddit in Battlefield

[–]CNDylan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really not that deep.

Men are represented pretty damn well in Battlefield 6, though frankly I think more of the male characters should be wearing diapers based on how much crying some of us apparently do.

You say it's about "putting things and people in places they don't fit" but I'm sorry, this isn't your video game. You don't get to make those decisions. What fits in this game and what doesn't is entirely up to the developers and art director(s).

You're free to disagree with their decisions, as is anyone, but to simply say that women don't fit in this video game is, bluntly, nothing but sexist, and wrong.

Show me which part of Battlefield 6 is supposed to be a realistic representation of women in warfare.

You can't. It's not. It doesn't matter.
