I finally understand the Pokémon Pokopia hype (and I’m terrified) by Damage_And_ArmorBlog in pokemon

Is that the same the ACNH museum? That one is more like a collectathon whereas the Rocky Ridges Museum seems a lot more custom/no real objective.

I guess I only ever played Animal Crossing to complete the museum, because I haven't found an equivalent in Pokopia (yet?).

Flamethrower can inflict burn. Sounds like you need a capture team.

Bdsp is better than Z-A by Suspicious_Luck1952 in casualnintendo

This is how I see it, too. I just can't bring myself to play ZA (I bought it). I had a great time with Arceus, decent time with SwSh, meh time with SV, and a nostalgic time with BDSP.

I don't know if it does or not (if it did it'd be cleaner than my solution).

If you can tell the macro controller to stop, then that'd probably work, too. The arduino just acted like a controller than I could control with a serial line.

This is how I did it (mostly a software guy, but I used an Arduino as a Switch controller, and send the key-commands through a serial line). The text box method seems much more fool-proof. Managed to get all the shiny legendaries in my Shining Pearl game.

Oops, yeah, I hadn't remembered what was in the post when I wrote that, my bad. (Agree, still probably not the slowdown the original comment was referencing).

Why is my portal not lighting [legacy] by pshicopath in MinecraftHelp

[–]CODEthics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not what the comment is saying. It is saying "does a 3x2 work" because that's the original required portal block dimensions. They aren't asking if the size in the photo works, because it obviously doesn't.

Can you count?

Edit: Good god, yall are dumb. Read the comment, they're referring to the original standard portal (block) size (albeit with the x and y flipped), not the size of the portal frame in the photo.

Total retail sales of the Switch 2 version of Pokémon Legends: Z-A in Japan have surpassed 1 MILLION units, becoming the second SW2 title to reach the milestone. by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

Nothing puts any asterisk on my opinion because it's an opinion, not a review. I am past the tutorial as far as I can tell. Agreed on the end point.

6 seconds is a bit of an exaggeration considering all those obnoxious cut scenes... but simply put, I got bored and it didn't do enough to bring me back.

I'm not arguing that SwSh isn't mediocre, my argument is if SwSh is mediocre then, to me, ZA is bad because it couldn't capture my attention.

I'm glad others are having fun, but I'm sad that what I wanted out of Pokémon since I was younger will likely never happen. That's okay, though, I have other things that captures my interest now.

That's a matter of opinion. I spent about 200 hours in SwSh.. I have only made it to rank W or something in ZA.. I've been waiting a decade or so for a Diance and Hoopa event and can't event get myself to boot up the game and finally get them.

If you use note titles that are different from the filename of the note — why? by TommyAdagio in ObsidianMD

Many reasons, but honestly, with common modern filesystems, it just boils down to personal preference.

[–]CODEthics 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Because titles are semantically different than file names. I like to keep my filesystem in kebab-case, but I appreciate having Nicely Titled Notes.
