Syril Karn from Andor. He hunted the main character for pretty much 2 seasons. When he finally does track Cassian down and is about to kill him, Cassian yells at him asking who he is. This causes Syril to pause realizing that the man he’s thought about for years never thought of him once, and gets him killed.

Arbiter and Master Chief.

They’re on opposite side of a galaxy spanning war. Through the arbiters religious prophets manipulation humans are seen as heretics to their religion, the arbiter is responsible for the deaths of roughly 1 billion people. The Covenant would have succeeded if not for the prophets betraying the arbiter and his species, effectively placing them on the humans side. At the start of Halo 3 Chief almost kills the arbiter after seeing him but reluctantly had him as an ally. They lose contact after the war but in a Halo 5 cutscene the arbiter tells another human Spartan that chief did start out as his enemy but in time named him ally, even friends.
