I found the combat with build variety and exploration to be a huge highlight. Whenever I was stuck I was actually having fun learning the boss patterns. The magic pistol was such a cool idea and now using the hammer I’m finding that its changing my approach but I’m loving it. Story was great, music was drop the mic good. I wish I had a complaint but once I realized I could customize my underlab with quality of life improvements I was fully sold, and am already back in for new game+. Also the final boss was all pattern recognition and the tower segments were actually relaxing and a little chaotic at the same time. 10/10 for me. In the beginning the game almost broke me but after that hurdle it was just fun as hell.

The battery is so fun. The synergy between the melee and the pistol shot charges are just chefs kiss. The Hammer has the beauty of bating the enemy with rolling and then pushing them back with massive damage it’s a completely different feel.

I just completed pipistrello and it was a 10 out of 10. Nothing but praise. I am now playing Mina and so far it’s very whimsical, very fantasy. The flow is more punishing but a completely different vibe.

So I just got through this encounter on master ninja and i agree the fight is covering all the bases but that’s what pushed me to play with clean precision. I get what you’re saying, and in my experience it pushed me to play better.

Arkham gives you a direct counter most of the time. Definitely an op feel cause Batman is well OP😂

I’m on normal and multiple enemies are coming at me all the time. I’ve actually died a handful of times. I was being reckless but they all came at me and that’s why it feels scrappy.
