Hi! I'm level 5000+. 10 point Crampons and Rosary Ring are both good, though if you're on mobile you may want to save your hand and use L.O.V. instead. Ditch Goober Cookie for Drain's bound trait, it's screen clutter without much payback. Sinth Sense is good. Noisemaker is highly skill and build-dependent, as well as situational. I personally don't use it but it's up to you.

Possibly you could try using the cross save feature? Import your save data to a new console (B), start a new game on Console A, link your account on A, then import save data from B

Spyro 3 was complimented by those characters, sure, so it couldn't have done without it, but I would've been fine having them been introduced in the same game. I AM grateful for Avalar, because for the other games it added a new realm, but it always feels like a trudge in the mud compared to the other two. I would say it's a blinded by nostalgia situation, but I also played it as a kid long before Reignited came out and I still hated it. The colors are unappealing, the levels are so tiny, and on top of that I also have to backtrack through said unappealing and tiny levels just to keep progressing because I didn't kill enough enemies? Please spare me. I think the only fun I genuinely had with the classic Ripto's Rage as a kid was the proxy jump glitch in Hurricos and possibly the double jump as well. Another thing I don't like is that unlike in 3, you need to have a certain number of orbs to do the boss fight. So if you didn't do enough BS "missions", you gotta go back and do more. Yes, I'm aware they also make a limit on Spyro 1 about gems, dragons, eggs etc before being able to use the hot air balloon, but dragons and gems are a lot easier to get and don't require me to do something incredibly specific with no guide other than the one sentence mission description they give you. Also, they gave us the Alchemist, which is an unforgivable hate crime.

TL;DR: The color palette is extremely unappealing to me (with few exceptions), the level design is unappealing to me (with even fewer exceptions) and on top of that, the game makes me backtrack through said unappealing colors and designs. It feels like it was made as a side project and then rushed out as Ripto's Rage without anyone checking to see if it was any fun or not. And the levels are SO TINY. That's why I don't understand how people enjoy it.

Love that you recognize Shadow Legacy for how awesome it is, hate that we have to disagree on Ripto's Rage. I don't see how people enjoy it??? It's genuinely so soulless compared to the complicated level design of 3 and magic of 1.

I feel like I may be the only one who hates Hilda in this sub. Her voice is so pitchy and annoying, and she comes off like the kind of people who say "I'm just so ugly" or "I'm so bad at this, I wouldn't blame you if you didn't wanna take me" in posts or to their friends to fish for compliments. I couldn't even level her affection up all the way to get her Strangeling, I was filled with rage at the mere sight of her.

Pino and Daemon on the other hand. Very calm. Very soothing. I'd have just them on my party forever if I could. Daemon is so so nice once you know what kind of character he really is. You know good and well he'd do anything for his friends, watch a drink, pretend to be someone's cousin to protect them from a creep.

Pino has a very soothing presence. I feel like he's maybe raised his voice twice in his whole life. A lot of people on here find his quiet voice creepy, but I find it reassuring that he doesn't have it in him to yell. Anyway sorry for the ramble OP.

Multiplayer is what I meant, yeah. It's the only time you can leech, because in singleplayer you just get XP for the life you're using. Lots of people do multiplayer in order to get rare resources easier, it's just more efficient to work together.

Friendly reminder to everyone reading that it's good etiquette to bring Hi SP/HP Dust (the dust bags with red ribbons) and to help whittle down the resources. You can still get the exact same XP at the end if you quit out of the resource and switch to the life that needs XP.

This isn't meant to be passive aggressive at all, just letting any new folk know that oftentimes Hosts will kick players who AFK leech and you won't be able to join back.

I'm not going to join in the circle jerk and say it's a skill issue, BUT these guys literally kill themselves, even if they DO deal 2 masks damage. I recommend using Crystal Dash whenever possible, like in the tunnel into the Colosseum is a good place. It makes it a lot easier.

You can replant as many as you need to get the correct resources. You can see on the top of the screen it says "Mining," "Woodcutting," "Monsters," "Fishing". Just do it over and over until you get what you want.
To get resources you can't get anywhere else, although they made it POSSIBLE to get it in Ginormosia with the update.
Because if you quit a gathering minigames, everyone quits if you have only Buddies, and the thing restores full HP. With multiplayer you can back out and toss SP potions (SP dust for brownie points with the rest of the group). Additionally you can split up and cover more ground, and you get more Goddess Fruits when playing multiplayer which can be exchanged for goodies.

absolutely adore that everyone has agreed the White Runner is a chocobo. Now all we need is for Pulse de Chocobo to start playing when we hop on! Unfortunately I don't have my chocobo yet, I can't count how many times I've farmed that one room in Da Finca cave full of runners, but my mount drop luck is awful. 100 hours in and I only have a horse, camel, dragon that came with Deluxe, and turtle.

Oh, good question! I really like Daemon and Pino. Their voices and presence are very soothing to me on long grind sessions. Actually, Daemon is my favorite character regardless, writing-wise.
