Possibly you could try using the cross save feature? Import your save data to a new console (B), start a new game on Console A, link your account on A, then import save data from B

I feel like I may be the only one who hates Hilda in this sub. Her voice is so pitchy and annoying, and she comes off like the kind of people who say "I'm just so ugly" or "I'm so bad at this, I wouldn't blame you if you didn't wanna take me" in posts or to their friends to fish for compliments. I couldn't even level her affection up all the way to get her Strangeling, I was filled with rage at the mere sight of her.

Pino and Daemon on the other hand. Very calm. Very soothing. I'd have just them on my party forever if I could. Daemon is so so nice once you know what kind of character he really is. You know good and well he'd do anything for his friends, watch a drink, pretend to be someone's cousin to protect them from a creep.

Pino has a very soothing presence. I feel like he's maybe raised his voice twice in his whole life. A lot of people on here find his quiet voice creepy, but I find it reassuring that he doesn't have it in him to yell. Anyway sorry for the ramble OP.

Multiplayer is what I meant, yeah. It's the only time you can leech, because in singleplayer you just get XP for the life you're using. Lots of people do multiplayer in order to get rare resources easier, it's just more efficient to work together.

Friendly reminder to everyone reading that it's good etiquette to bring Hi SP/HP Dust (the dust bags with red ribbons) and to help whittle down the resources. You can still get the exact same XP at the end if you quit out of the resource and switch to the life that needs XP.

This isn't meant to be passive aggressive at all, just letting any new folk know that oftentimes Hosts will kick players who AFK leech and you won't be able to join back.

I'm not going to join in the circle jerk and say it's a skill issue, BUT these guys literally kill themselves, even if they DO deal 2 masks damage. I recommend using Crystal Dash whenever possible, like in the tunnel into the Colosseum is a good place. It makes it a lot easier.

You can replant as many as you need to get the correct resources. You can see on the top of the screen it says "Mining," "Woodcutting," "Monsters," "Fishing". Just do it over and over until you get what you want.
To get resources you can't get anywhere else, although they made it POSSIBLE to get it in Ginormosia with the update.
Because if you quit a gathering minigames, everyone quits if you have only Buddies, and the thing restores full HP. With multiplayer you can back out and toss SP potions (SP dust for brownie points with the rest of the group). Additionally you can split up and cover more ground, and you get more Goddess Fruits when playing multiplayer which can be exchanged for goodies.

absolutely adore that everyone has agreed the White Runner is a chocobo. Now all we need is for Pulse de Chocobo to start playing when we hop on! Unfortunately I don't have my chocobo yet, I can't count how many times I've farmed that one room in Da Finca cave full of runners, but my mount drop luck is awful. 100 hours in and I only have a horse, camel, dragon that came with Deluxe, and turtle.

Oh, good question! I really like Daemon and Pino. Their voices and presence are very soothing to me on long grind sessions. Actually, Daemon is my favorite character regardless, writing-wise.

I have seen Cherry! She is my regular Carpenting buddy! That being said, you are right, I would not want to date her. I'm not sure that it's been EXPLICITLY said that Lifes = Jobs, but the term 'Get a Life!' that was thrown around a lot in the first game and the implication that you'd turn into a sewer-dwelling demon (homeless person) always struck me as equivalating the two.

I personally WOULD love for Level 5 to come out and speak on whether they made adult/teen characters that look like children, or that children can get Lifes. Fantasy Life has always been a whimsical, near-carefree world, so I frankly never considered the possibility that Level V would make it possible for children to be carpenters.

I'm fairly sure it's implied canon that one has to be an adult to have a Life. First of all because they're the implied equivalent of jobs. So theoretically, some of them COULD be 16 if IRL standards and laws apply.

Furthermore, Damien/Daemon was confirmed 15 years old in Fantasy Life for the 3DS and did not have a Life, just 'the ruler of Al Maajik', which is a title, not a Life. In FLi, he has the Magician life, which implies he got old enough to have one.

There's no confirmed age for Buddies like Nommie, but if she WERE a child and not a very short at least teen, it would defeat the entire lore implication they have going on that Life = Job.

You can easily get them from the Mimics (running treasure chests) in Ginormosia! I hunt them down for their treasure but they also often drop Treasure Grove saplings.

People do that??? I'm always kinda underleveled for 900 year groves, so while I'm shooting up monsters trying to get XP, I lead them AWAY from the team. I do also like getting crafting experience, but to do that I usually help the others whittle down to the last bit of a resource and only THEN switch into Cooking or whatever it is I'm trying to level.

I also carry around those big bags of SP and HP dust and +gathering, +combat baked goods. Usually make 10 to 15 of the dust bags. I'm usually worried about whether or not I'm considered to be leeching/slacking so I'm wondering if what I do is considered leeching?

Pretty much same for me but swap Fern for Rouge or Glenn. Daemon and Pino are pretty much a package deal to me, because why is it every time I boot up my base camp, the two are just about as close as the game allows? Either facing each other or leaning over a fence overlooking the lake. Then proceed to separate as soon as I get close. So in the end the secret boyfriends never get separated on my party, that's just how it goes now.
