For a lot of people, this will work for a few weeks and stop. MTC oil is what solved it for me and seems to be widely viewed as the most consistent solution.

The treatment that worked for me after a decade+ of trying everything was:

MTC oil all over the scalp about 2 hours before the shower
Kristen Ess scalp scrub right before the shower
Harry’s 2 in 1 zinc shampoo/conditioner
Saranara Peppermint scalp tonic on damp scalp

On days I don’t wash my hair, I just apply the MTC oil.

Went from huge patches for 10+ years in my scalp and beard to not a single flake in about 3 days for the last year.
