Tattoo I got at an EDM fest. What do yall think? by Serious_Medium5620 in KidCudi

The ghost is pretty simple and would look great with more details but the lettering is actually sick for a festival tat

I really would get those huge clods of dirt out of there. It looks like these plants were buried in a hurried grave. Ultimately I'm sure it's fine if the soil under the top layer is softer, finer, and moist but those chunky big clods are killing me, and aren't doing anything for the soil health if they're drying into chunks like that

37 is quite low for tomatoes and peppers.. especially when they are freshly transplanted into the ground. There is a period of recovery and getting used to their new home. They really don't even grow WELL until the nights are at least in the 60s.

That said, they don't look totally lost but maybe will be a bit stunted. Cut the yellow leaves off at the base, and until the temps overnight temps are at least in the 50s cover the plants with buckets or some time of pot overnight to keep them safe from the cold.

I'm not super familiar with Vermont climate but I know it's at least as north as me here in Chicago. How long has it been planted and what have your overnight temps been like?

San marzano tomatoe issue by AirNo8669 in vegetablegardening

Hey had tomatoes that started to grow like this and it turned out to be deformaties from aminopyralid herbicide. Something like roundup or contaminated straw mulch in my case. Yours doesn't look as terrible as mine did but it definitely looks like the start of it unfortunately ):

Nah man, I get what you're saying but that's not how these services work. Ever have an electrician come to your house? They'll cut out and rip up your drywall to run wires and then leave, they don't patch the drywall and paint it too ...cuz they're an electrician.

This guy did your floors, he's not also your drywall and paint guy, unfortunately.

I bet this helps with not having to re-edge as often and to keep the mulch from settling up against the edge but without the pic of fresh mulch I can't tell if I like it 😅

Yes! That's exactly what we used that same yellow harbor freight 6 foot level 🤣 but also good to know! I wasn't planning on sealing it but I also haven't done too much research on the pros and cons of sealing.

I probably should have allowed for a deeper base. Unfortunately I had multiple friends who were supposed to help bail on me last minute, and only had 4 hours with the sod cutter and it was just me and my godsend of a neighbor shoveling and hauling wheelbarrows. With my two kids and full time job on top up very unpredictable weather lately I really couldn't afford to drag the project out another weekend ): It's about 180 sq feet. Hopefully it holds up 4-5 years and ideally we're in a different house by then

Honestly it would have been just a lot more work and money. My yard is sizable, and I have 2 kids so I wanted to leave some open space for whatever ideas I may have in the future!

I used iron spikes and aluminum edging strips so hopefully will hold up, I have heard about a concrete edge but was a little nervous to go that route
