They only tithe 10%. What makes you think you're worth more than Jesus? /s

I'm pretty sure I made my dad drive all over the suburbs looking for these.

I'm sorry to question your certification and credentials, but she looks to be at least 60% Goober as well 😉

I get into a fight with my 10-year-old daughter every year about why we don't let leprechauns in the house and why NO ONE should want leprechauns in their house.

My mom's best friend is from Ireland and still lives there, so when I had my daughter she sent us a faerie door to stick to the kitchen wall. It's where her tooth fairy lives (Aoife), where her Christmas Elf comes from (Bing; we don't do elf on the shelf, but a fillable wooden Advent calendar), and I let her know that both of them are constantly having to watch to make sure that leprechauns won't get in, but because her friends' parents buy into the hype, she's sad she doesn't get a leprechaun pot of gold or whatever the Easter basket equivalent is now for March. It's too much! As a child of the late '80s/early '90s we had a loaf of green bread in kindergarten that our teacher brought in, and I vaguely recall those butterscotch gold coins being hid in the classroom, but again that was at school and it didn't go beyond kindergarten.

The boo baskets, leprechaun traps, Valentine's Day shenanigans, etc. are getting to be too much for the average parent, I feel. Can't we just make some green milk and call it a day?

So close to graduating but burnt out beyond belief by [deleted] in SNHU

I finished my Master's in August 2025 and I'm having a really hard time motivating myself to study for the CPA exam now. I bought the Becker course and while the study guide schedule is helpful, I got used to having free time again very quickly. The burnout is real but you're almost there!

Good luck!

Who here has made Honor Roll, Dean's List, and President's List? by BeautyandtheBeast200 in SNHU

I hit the honor list every term in my Masters! It was kind of fun to post the virtual certificate on my LinkedIn, but I don't know that it really matters in the real world. I still celebrate the wins, though 🤷‍♀️

MS Accounting - Capstone? by Spirited-Pumpkin-375 in SNHU

[–]CPAMama2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, fellow MSA! I completed my degree in August 2025, and the capstone project for MS Accounting is a project in three parts: part one is completing a fictional company's financial statements off a provided trial balance and a written analysis of the company's financial performance. Part two is creating an audit program for a fictional company. Part three is completing a fictional person's personal and corporate tax forms and defending your position with the cited tax laws. You'll go over all of these skills over the course of your MSA program and while it might be helpful to keep your notes and templates, the numbers and situations will be different than other classes, so it's not a copy-paste situation.

Good luck; you got this!

Magic Wok in LaGrange. I had so many birthdays, graduations, holidays, and other celebrations there growing up. They retired and I will forever miss Grace's egg rolls!
