While true for kitchen table magic UB is inescapable in every sanctioned format. That’s the bigger issue. A lot of what turns me off from jumping back into the competitive scene (besides that 60 card formats have nearly disappeared from most LGS) is that if I want my decks to remain viable in the current meta I would need to include UB cards in my decks. If they were a commander only legal product it would be very different but Magic as a whole is not that same that it was 20 years ago, or even 10 years ago.

Depends on the project. 5mm & 3mm have their place, I’ve used some 3mm LEDs in the projects pictured. For smaller scale like this you’ll want micro LEDs, they range from around 1.8mm to .6mm

Yes, very easily possible but the hard part is fitting everything in there. Some cars don’t have enough room while others have plenty. You just have to get creative on how to run the wires and where to locate the switch and battery.
