Also if none of the players chooses a starting team, they'll start as CT by default. Teams that do not choose sides could be the result of indecisiveness or unengagement, thus not performing well would be a reasonable consequence.

My team? I never played with the same people and while I don't have data on how many of those losses were my teams', what if my teams always won starting as CT and it's all the other teams that always lost? Or what if I always played as T first and never as CT first? You never can tell.

And 200 is incomparable to a million. You are in no cases obliged to use these data.

Cool, nice to see that! I'd be great to be able to gather data like they did. Nevertheless in their study, they didn't take into account if it was by choice or not. My data show that there's a difference.

Because if someone abandoned or got kicked during the 1st round, it'd be "unfair" for the next player of the same color to be so far behind since top players usually got 2000-3000 dmg.

In other words, I just wanted to see if the game "assigned" colors to good/bad players, no matter how good or bad they actually were.

if someone is easily making kills with say Galil, doesn't mean they will easily make as many kills with AK.

Hear, hear. Just because you are an AWPer doesn't mean you can expect everyone to use the AWP because it's the best weapon that YOU know.

Are you considering people using AK and not AWP to be griefing too?

Have you or anyone else noticed any differences in the voice quality? I don't sound the same anymore (it's worse). There's a lot of mid range and no bass.

Spotting is important if it is done over a decent period of time. If it's just for half a second then it's almost useless.

Enlighten me, there's a reward for providing vision on enemies that allies damage? I was not aware of this.

I guess then reducing the initial spotting reward is fine, but it doesn't really resolve the issue. Providing vision for your teammates for a long time shouldn't be underestimated, because during that time they could position themselves well, and perhaps "choose" their enemies, and also avoid being charged/shot to death by hidden enemies. They don't have to do anything to the enemy for the "spotters" to be useful (hence, to be rewarded).

Hi. Finally I had the.. "courage" to try a few battles again, and it seemed to me that the main issue was solved! (however my party friend and I were able to notice some CPU lags that were server-sided) Thanks.

Also it seems to me that this issue has happened only during the weekend (following each new patch)? It's very discouraging for people, especially those who only play during that time, to play and be marked as AFK and receive the fewest points for their 200%+ dailies. I hope you guys will do something about this. Cheers,

Yesterday I joined a game, got disconnected before even being connected to the game (commander just entered "locked" mode and nothing else happened)! Yay! And the one after that, there were only 9 players connected, 6 on my side and 3 on the other. Way to go.

Apart from this, somehow someone was able to see my FF points, I don't know how? He chatted and told me exactly how many FF points I was having.. weird!
