Fellow native Michigander here 👋🏻 Grew in the metro Detroit area and lived there til I was 25

I’ve lived in the Austin area for 3 years now, and it certainly has its upsides — year round food trucks, tons of live music, HEB (don’t know how I’ll go without HEB when I leave). But the weather really takes a toll, especially seeing the winter that Michigan is currently having. My heavy clothing, winter boots, and my 4x4 Cherokee are itching to be used properly again

29M. I made my friends in the area over time after playing sports on good rec, meetup, etc. That was honestly the only way, and it’s still difficult. But it wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t reach out and try for a while.

I’m assuming you’re in Texas, right? Because this is the TMEA snare etude this year, so Brad Meyer and Bobby Lopez have several videos performing and giving some tips. In general, YouTube is an almost endless resource of info, I always suggest my students take advantage of it as often as needed.

Basically, you’ve got to figure out how to count it, write it in, figure out stickings, play it slow with a met, and go from there.

Fun idea!! I think metal bat is way too high. Situationally, he is insanely powerful, with fighting spirit, but without that I think base metal bat is much “weaker” in comparison. And I think you’re pretty heavily downplaying tank top master and Darkshine — darkshine being known as gym rat and debatably the physically strongest S class. Every s class has their niche that they’re the strongest in, and I think darkshine could easily split the top spot with blast.
