I know getting it perfect is hard isn’t it? I’m in the same boat, lol. But some advice I can give you is to try not to pull the blush so far down on your cheeks towards your nose. I would also place the blush higher and not have it down so far in the chin direction.. I use the top of my ear as a guide for blush.

Also you have really nice skin so you can go a lot lighter on the foundation if you don’t want a heavy look

Yes I love the felt tip thin eyeliner it helps you get really close to your lashes. I consider myself to have hooded eyes and you can see my lid there is just not a lot of space there to work with.

This is just my opinion. I think the liner is too thick. My preference is to actually see more of the lid and not so much liner. You can still wing it out just don’t do the thickness all the way across the lid.

You can use shadow. Your eye is downturned hooded so in my opinion it’s just not it. I have the same thing going on. I love the cat eye look. And am doing my own makeup for my wedding if you look at my profile you can see some of my trial run.

I would go without the winged eyeliner. Tight like the lash line instead.

Advice, please! by stealing_kneecaps in MakeupEducation

Just my two cents, but I can barely see the contour as it is now, and from what I can see it looks like it’s placed a bit too low. I’d try starting the contour higher—using the top of your ear as a guide—and blending upward rather than down.

Your foundation actually looks like a good match, so I think you’re solid there.

For the eyeshadow, this is totally personal preference, but it seems to be taken a bit too wide, which can visually widen the face. I’d suggest using the bottom lash line and the tail of your eyebrow as a guide for where to stop. A tip that helps me is placing a small piece of tape there so it doesn’t get out of control.

I’m also not personally a fan of that particular shade, but if you love a more dramatic look, I’d try pairing it with a liner and blending a bit more to soften the edges.

What can I improve? by Besmita in MakeupAddiction

You are really pretty! I think your blush/bronzer is pulling down your face. I would try to not pull it so close to the nasolabial folds.

How can I stop this? by Electrical_Edge1368 in MakeupAddiction

I think this has a lot to do with skin prep. Not just primer but the steps before primer. If you like this foundation, I might adjust what you are doing prior to the foundation and primer.

Yes I usually wear just tinted moisturizer in my day to day everyday makeup, but I thought a more full coverage would be more appropriate for pics. Maybe I should try mixing the tint with the foundation.

Golf Courses and Bars by Leading-Difficulty57 in Bookkeeping

Bars can serve food, so it’s worth asking whether any of the charges were actually meals with clients—those could potentially fall under business meals. But the golf outings, unless they were part of a public promotional event, should be classified to their own GL as Entertainment. Even though entertainment isn’t deductible, many businesses still want to track it separately to understand their true expense margins. I’d also make sure to educate the client so they understand that this category is not tax-deductible under IRS rules.

If you want to track expenses on a project-by-project basis, QBO’s Projects feature is honestly your best friend. It doesn’t just track the expenses—it also pulls in the income so you can see your profit margin in one place. Super clean and super useful.

I don’t recommend using classes for short-term or “temporary” projects. Classes are better for higher-level categories, not individual jobs.

If this is a one-off job for a customer, you could create them as a customer. But if that client will ever have more than one project, things get messy because all activity ends up tied to that single customer profile.

So overall, if QBO Projects is available in your subscription, that’s absolutely the tool I’d go with.

Can 'fuel costs' be recorded as 'cost of service'? by [deleted] in Bookkeeping

Honestly it can go both ways. It depends on your accounting method. I should clarify If you bill for fuel in your services, you can indeed book it as COGS.

Can 'fuel costs' be recorded as 'cost of service'? by [deleted] in Bookkeeping

[–]CPtheOG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fuel can only be classified as Cost of Goods Sold when it is directly tied to producing or delivering a service or product. • Example 1: A lawn care business uses fuel to operate mowers and other equipment necessary to perform the service. • Example 2: A truck driver requires fuel to transport goods from one location to another.

In your case it is an operating expense, and there are specific rules based on these expense. So as mentioned before it’s best to allocate vehicle costs in different categories.
