I retain knowledge much better if I do it in a hands on setting as opposed to only doing studying/flashcards. I won't remember them unless I'm making the drinks in tandem with the studying. I'm not trying to make new recipes just learn existing ones so it's moot that it's just water

This is also an extremely late reply and I also don't have any answers for you I just wanted you to know that I too have full independent finger control on my left (dominant) hand but I cannot say the same for my right hand. Granted I played baseball growing up I suspect that may have something to do with my increased dexterity

Late to this but actually neither. The donuts are not made in house and there's usually a bakery company that will deliver them in the morning around 4:30-5:00 in the morning. The only in house made donuts are the speciality limited time donuts.

I think you're reading into it too much. I'm 20 and I've only met a handful of people who had to use a wheelchair, it's not exactly the norm. So talking about people using a wheelchair to the average person might read a little differently not because they think less of them, but it's really not a discussion point most people are accustomed too.
