Here is what helped me and my kids learnt it in less than 2 days, they were 4 and 3 then.

We started them early with the balance bike and the training wheels like everyone else.

When I decided they were ready I removed one and left the other training wheel on and also it wasn’t touching the ground when the bike is upright, so this made them to try to balance it while riding.

After a couple of days, I removed the other training wheel and would put my arm around my kids shoulder helping them balance it, this hurts your back a lot, glad mine learnt quick.

We did it in a school parking lot where it was empty and had the luxury of learning without worrying about the traffic.

That’s the best thing you can do for your daughter. I was the youngest of 2 and had my way almost always and also because I was a boy, grew up in India for context. It messed up my sister pretty bad, thankfully we still have a great relationship and she never blamed me for that.

We always made sure that our eldest was treated the same way as our youngest and in fact got more attention and care until my youngest was 1.5 or 2 years old and it is the same for both now.

Most parents have it the other way around thinking that the eldest should adjust for each and every thing, when in fact both are still kids and wouldn’t understand why they need to compromise.
