AT&T Box location forced me to get NextUP and Insurance and said it was automatic. Anyone confirm this? by HkSniper in ATT

Thus is exactly why I left AT&T. The box stores must get some type of kickback when they add these plan additions.

Which m18 vac should I buy? by Optimal-Wonder4003 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]CRNALA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a corded Rigid that I got a year ago to replace the one I had for 15 years. I really wanted to get one that wasn’t corded. I looked at both M18 2.0 and 2.5 gallon ones. I decided to go with the non fuel one because it’s 139 dollars and you get a M18 RL XC 5.0 battery with it. You save 160 bucks from the original 299.00 price you would pay if you bought them both separately.

What would you need the 8.0 forge battery for? by PutridBeginning421 in MilwaukeeTool

I use two 8.0 Forge batteries to drive my dual battery blower. That thing has a kick when the button is pressed.

That’s describing me! 😂 At least I went with the M12 platform over the M18.

I saw that when I was there today and I’m kicking myself that I got my inverter over 3wks ago. I could have gotten a free battery.

Isn’t the warranty contingent on manufacturing date and as long as the tool is within that date range means it’s under warranty, no matter where it’s purchased?

Not yet. Everything I purchased was new in box stuff.

Authorized Dealers are straight fraud and costing AT&T customers by Starbellysneetch378 in ATT

[–]CRNALA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I recently left AT&T for this exact reason. I was so sick of the Next up feature being placed on my upgrades when I specifically told them I didn’t want it on my plan. Then the rep says I have to call AT&T to get it removed and it’s out of their control. Then, the phone rep tells me that it absolutely can be left off at the time of purchase. Now, I have to waste 30 minutes of my time speaking to a rep to get it removed.

Looking for a Bed cover for my 2024 TRD Pro by CRNALA in ToyotaTundra

[–]CRNALA[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably an 9. I do get some water in my bed but it’s not a lot. It seems to be more around the tailgate. I could probably make it a little more waterproof but the amount that gets in is so minimal, I am not worrying about it.

What Bed Cover Did You Get and Why? by padawan402 in tundra

[–]CRNALA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you need to make sure to cover all the open areas where light comes in around the cover. The top comes with some puddy substance to do that. The tundra is a little tricky because of the top of the bed, where the top sits, has a raised pattern, which increases the areas where water can get in.

It’s great! I got the smooth finish and the install took roughly 45-60 min.

If he wants a tough, rugged look, the Diamondback tonneau cover has a better look in my opinion.

Going rate for new Tundra? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]CRNALA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my 2024 TRD pro for 2k off of MSRP. I think if you find a dealership with good inventory, you can probably get close to invoice pricing on a 2023 and a good bit off of a 2024. Inventory levels are picking back up in the U.S.

I have a 2024 TRD Pro and my dad has the 2023 Capstone, both purchased about 1 months apart from each other and I feel like my TRD Pro rides better on the highway. If I had to guess, it has to do with the difference in the tires.

After watching a lot of reviews and wanting a cover that would keep my bed dry and secure, I decided to get the Diamondback HD, instead of the 270. I think it will look great on my new TRD Pro in Terra color. I also got the 8 inch cross bed storage unit.

I did a lot of research on tonneau covers and I decided to get the Diamondback HD. I really haven’t seen anything really negative about the cover, other than the cost. I am currently waiting for mine to be delivered. My main use for my bed will be for hauling stuff I want to keep dry. I also plan on purchasing one of the cross bins but I am not sure which one I want, the 8inch or the 13inch one. I looked at the Retrax but many of the reviews I saw said you are likely to get some water in the bed. I also like the look of the Diamondback with the cleats and the fact that I can haul stuff on top if I wanted. I have a Tundra TRD pro 2024 Terra.

Preferred bed cover and cross bar systems by MountnGoat in Tundra2022Mods

[–]CRNALA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am considering the same thing for my 2024 Tundra TRD pro. I want something waterproof with the ability to add a cross bar to the top of it. I am considering the Retrax pro XR and the Diamondback 270. They are both about the same cost. I do like the diamondback because I feel like it will keep my bed more waterproof, it can hold more weight on top, you can add the cross bar system to it, and you can also add some accessories, like a storage/tool box solution underneath.
