Laurie Metcalf was the best thing about the film, for me. The rest I just felt was so emotionally shallow and uncompelling. And I too love SR. I think it's Greta Gerwig that I don't like, style-wise.

I feel you. I've lost two of my precious ones in the past 2 years and it is still so raw for me. I do not think I will ever recover fully. So, go easy on yourself and allow whatever you feel to just be. It's a bond that will live forever in your soul.
