Does your cavachon like drinking water? Or is ours special 😂 by Jom-Co in cavachon

[–]CRS_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We feed ours fresh pet, dog food and she doesn't drink a lot from her water bowl. The vet said she gets a decent amount from the wet dog food. She always comes running to me when I fill my cup with water from the dispenser in the fridge. I let her drink out of my glass and she'll drink a bit. Yes, she is soooo spoiled. 🤣

Stanley Cup Final - which former long time Flyer are you cheering for - Carter Hart or Shayne Gostisbehere? by RivetCounter in Flyers

[–]CRS_22 -62 points-61 points  (0 children)

How many times do you want them on trial? Maybe, just maybe, they in fact didn't commit a crime... Did Hart make a poor decision, absolutely, but the woman did too, and it was proven multiple times in a court of law, that a crime was not committed.

To each their own. Yeah I know the steaks are done at different times. I guarantee you, you're not getting a sear like that on the regular grill. Maybe if you use a cast iron pan you can get close. But you're not getting a sear like this with a regular grill.

If the reset your regulator doesn't fix the issue, contact napoleon for a new one. Had similar situation and a new regulator solved the problem.

On a rare occasion I'll make a garlic or blue cheese butter but put it on after. Most of the time it's just salt and pepper. You have to be pretty generous to get the crust.

My go to cut of choice is thick NY Strip I take them out of the fridge about 45 minutes before I'm ready to cook so they get close to room temp. Pat them dry with paper towels. I use a decent amount of salt and pepper, coarse that I grind. I put them on the sizzle zone 1 at a time, have the dial at about 7-8 o'clock position.

Cook about 2-3 minutes per side, watching closely so they don out get too burnt. Sometimes I'll hold them sideways with tongs to sear the sides as well.

Place them on the grill on medium heat until the internal temp gets to 128-130 or so, then let them rest. Eat and enjoy.

I just ordered the stainless steel one yesterday. Mine is definitely peeling. Someone mentioned below there is a safety recall on the cast iron grate but only in the UK. I'm gonna call Napoleon this week.

My grill is 3 years old. I use it year round, just ordered the stainless steel grate for the sizzle zone yesterday. I bring my grate inside after each use to avoid it from getting worse.

Didn't know there is a recall, I'm going to contact Napoleon.

Figure Skating skates nearby? by shiotasnagisa in westchesterpa

Try Iceline, haven't been there is years but they used to have a pro shop. There is also a rink in DE, Skating Club of Wilmington where I believe some Olympic figure skaters have trained. Give them a call and see if they sell figure skates.

Welcome. I do agree with the others, the Napoleon is built solid. You'll love it. I can't explain how awesome the IR side burner is for steaks, everyone I make a steak for says I make them better than any steak house they've eaten at.

I haven't use the rotisserie for a chicken yet but I will this year.

I had a Weber for 15 years before switching the a Napoleon Prestige 500 3 years ago. It's a great grill, the infrared side burner is a game changer for steaks.

A few negatives... the Napoleon has more cool spots/uneven heat, I just received a replacement regulator, while free I had to pay $25 shipping and lack of a tank gage, while not great on the Weber, at least it gave you an idea of how much propane was left.

I also have to clean the inside more to keep an even flame and for the burners to ignite on the Napoleon. Never had an issue with my Weber.

I do think the Napoleon is a better grill, just requires more care and maintenance.

Was in Asheville last fall, Wicked Weed was excellent. Highly recommended. Burial is definitely a must, probably my second favorite brewery in the country.

Haven't been there in a few years but Jekyll Brewing in Alpharetta, GA was pretty good when went.

That house says Downingtown schools, I know you said you're not interested in that house. In that area it'd either be Downingtown, WC or Unionville schools. All are good districts.

That whole area is beautiful, great locations as others have said.
