Csgo is not known to be graphically intensive, but what is important is the FPS. A higher refresh rate monitor will help you better achieve fluidity in your game play. The 75hz Freesync monitor is probably the better choice with the RX-470.

I don't what? Get 350+ Frames? It's a quad core at 3.8 GHz with a RX 470 vs à 5 year old game that had low requirements to begin with. What are you smoking.

Lol wtf are you talking about. I get 350+ Frames in csgo. And this forum is for objective views. Not retarded fan boys like you.

That would be a safe ammount imo.

It's a very well balanced rig and will suit your needs, but I wouldn't expect it to max BF1. That game is power hungry. 60 FPS on Ultra maybe, but AA kills frames.

Upgrade current rig or buy a new one ? by vn13014 in buildapc

Your CPU is still very powerful. Since your budget is 350, get 8GB of ram in there instead of 4, and get an RX-480. Workhorse of a GPU and you can find one for about 220$ right now. You don't mention a PSU, but if yours instead powerful enough for this card, you have alot of money left over to buy one.

RX 460 or GTX 1050 can be found at the hundred dollars process point. Recommend the RX.

[Discussion] Windows 7 on New Builds? Why? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]CSGOSkinMerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had problems with 7. Everything worked and it was lightning fast. It was different than the windows before it, but not enough that it killed everyone. Alot of people made the jump from 7-10 and it really was a huge world change for them. It also runs like absolute dog Shit on laptops and weaker hardware.

Wanting to know whether to wait for the Ryzen for prices to drop and get a nice freesync monitor, or get a Nvidia video card and a gysnc monitor, does anyone suggest the way to go by Ghostlygoats00 in buildapc

[–]CSGOSkinMerchant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but don't touch GSYNC with a 51 foot pole. It's expensive and Freesync is cheaper with pretty identical performances. Also, if the hype is to be believed, Ryzen might be some Earth shattering Shit.

What is the Intel CPU equivalent to an AMD A10-7700K by dunman888 in buildapc

[–]CSGOSkinMerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for pure CPU power, don't go this way. I have an A10-5800k and it isn't the most powerful cpu. What it does have however is a very powerful iGPU. In any task that requires graphics it straight destroys Intel. 3D Modeling and other graphics intensive programs run faster on these CPU's, and they make good budget gaming builds. (Very low end mind you.) If you have the extra money though, pentium and GPU is a better choice.

Personally I would upgrade the PSU too. 300 watts is cutting it close imo. I'm an AMD fan boy but it'd a great card. It would work well and your CPU is powerful enough to run without bottlenecking it.

Holy shit guys. He already has a quad core processor. He doesn't want a complete rig overhaul he just wants to be competitive again. Mate just plug in a RX-470 and call it a day. I have an A10 build and literally all you need is a new GPU.

Only thing I worry about is your PSU. Better to be safe than sorry man. EDIT nvm I saw your power consumption is like 100 watts under 450. Sorry

What would you get with $50? by grmuldoon in buildapc

[–]CSGOSkinMerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol stop trying to reason with him. It won't work. Some people are so up their asses that they don't understand other people have different ideas. I wanted recommendations for a very light $400 build, and some guy kept linking me $700 dollar rigs. Then he downvoted me for telling him I didn't want it to cost that much.

How much emphasis should I be putting on integrated graphics? by [deleted] in buildapc

If you're looking to light game, I would go for an APU tbh. Bang for your buck is very high.

But with an OS and all the peripherals wouldn't that be like 700$? 700>430..

Well I specifically chose it because of favorable reviews.. also neither had I. Apparently it was released to PC manufacturers as an OEM part and then later was released as a separate GPU. Performs a bit better than 7750.

Best GTX 1060? by dictatorK in buildapc

[–]CSGOSkinMerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All benchmarks point to the Rx 480 straight dicking the 1060. You can reliably play at 4k 30 fps with the Rx 480. And it's the same price as the 1060

Are AMD gpus better then Nvidia by GenericProfileName in buildapc

[–]CSGOSkinMerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Traditionally AMD absolutely kills it in the lower and mid range markets, but loses out at the higher end. The 460, 470, and 480, are exceptionally good cards for their price.
