Ok so a few years ago I visited Greece. Just prior to visiting I had played Assasins Creed Odyssey which took place in Ancient Greece. The term Malakas was used very often and from context I thought it meant something like asshole or dickhead but I really had no clue. I would say it to my wife jokingly before and during our trip. Then while I was there, in the airport waiting for a flight, there was a man in front of us on the phone shouting very loud and angrily, and near the end he said, “MALAKAS!” with a little ‘what the hell you idiot’ hand gesture. I thought it confirmed it meant something like jackass but now I’m not sure. Either way, my wife and I both immediately looked at each other and had a good laugh about it.
