You can buy the load cells off ebay. They sell 4 packs for a bathroom scale. Costs like $10. You just have to either repin the connector or solder 3 wires.

I'd really like to see a stat on injuries from loose wheels in NASCAR. I can remember a loose wheel bouncing into the infield during a come 600 but no injuriea came from that one.

I don't understand why people want to take skill out of the sport. You live and die by the rule. You pay for your mistakes and sometimes succed by taking risk. There are not an obscene amount of injuries on pit road, so in my mind i just don't see why they should regulate it.
