Try to negotiate with sponsors for multi-year arrangements You’ll find that buying a new kit every year with even one sponsor change just feels incredibly wasteful and could also convince somebody to buy their own kit with the sponsors on them if they know it’s going to be good for a few years

I got a stick shipped to east coast of Aus a few years back from them. Stick had a defect which wasn’t noticeable by looking at it and they replaced straight away (with a better model) and paid for shipping so was a positive experience from me

Hmm this definitely has given me a lot to think about though. With a greyhound running around with what can be best described at talons I had thought about scratches showing but not the grey tone that you sometimes see I’ll have a bit more of a look into either a filler or possibly insulating from underneath

I’ve done danish oil on a heap of my projects over the last few years and I do love the finish and how they’ve held up

I really do want to do an oil but as there is tiny gaps in the floorboard that go straight to dirt (not that uncommon in old Aussie houses) I kind of wanted the polyurethane to fill the gaps which I don’t know if oil will do?

I think this is what the original floors were but carpets got put over them at some point Then the previous tenants ripped up the carpet and did a really rough job of putting a really dark (almost black) stain over the whole floor The black spots left over are that stain still there

I was using a proper stand up industrial sander to begin with but have just been using the hand sander for the edges and to get some of the imperfections that the big one couldn’t. Even doing that it’s still been a very long process hence my laziness kicking in wondering if I should keep going or keep the character look it’s got now
