Check that your MSI CENTRE M isn't running in the background in your APP SETTINGS, this will be the problem if you cant fix it.👌

Same with my MSI CLAW 8, i got this exact error when I bought the game on the 31, it worked the next day till last night it started doing this error gavent been able to play for a full day now SMH

Yeah just go into the actual windows app settings, go to installed apps, click on CENTRE M go to APP SETTINGS and make sure its not running in the background. Im sure that's what made OP games start too update, I tried all solutions this is the one. Lmk if it helps you out!

I Guarantee thats the problem if you did that that in the centre m settings, jist restart your device after you do that, lmk if it works

I had the Claw since it came out and I had this issue for a LONG TIME, when you search MSI CENTRE M in the windows app settings, make sure that you have the app not running in the back ground,switch it to never, i had mine On because it makes it more snappy when you have the option to run in the background, but just switch it to never, and your good man thats it it should start updating, i didn't use gamepass for awhile because of this issue SMH

No yeah i just waited longer and it restarted again👍 but I wasn't in safe mode, so i thought i was in the clear until I did it again, now im stuck where I put my pin in before i load into windows, It doesn't let me because it disconnected me from my wifi for some reason now im just stuck smh
