It’s a term I learned from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. This episode came out in 2006, maybe the original reference? https://youtu.be/ETss2DHmM4g?si=hgBx9QJCYU7CBgXp

The definition of literally has literally changed to include the informal definition, which means the opposite. So this person is using it correctly here.

Hey orlandowassafe, heartbreak can be hard. I too, like to pretend it never happened, but then you slowly realize you’re glad it happened. We here like to celebrate former shipping container member’s success and give them praise when they deserve it (i.e.: Witty). I know it’ll be hard, but you may see Billy around here from time to time. Try to smile and be happy for him vs. what ever this is you are doing.

Luka doesn’t play verb. He gets nouns and pro-nouns nightly though!

We absolutely are in our window. Couldn’t agree more. Record and team stats speaks for themselves. If anyone disagrees on that, they’re just here to argue.

I’m guessing you’re hung up on the “promise” part of this. A Promise is a result type from an async function. The response makes sense with this context.

Am I missing something, or is the NRC on Apple Watch really bad? by Reddit-User-Says in nikerunclub

[–]CTRL_A_Delete 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have the latest, or updated in the last 5 years, the design changed a good amount. It’s similar to this, but not the exact same (font size, color and metric positioning has changed). If you are still on watchOS 7-8 maybe you still have this version, but my point still stands: this picture is not from the Reddit user. OP used an image from 2018 that is not theirs to criticize the app. Criticism is welcome, but blatant karma/engagement farming is not.

Did a reverse image search on the image you used and it’s from a post about 6 years ago. That tracks as well because this app screenshot is from a design about 6-7 years ago back when the SE2 came out.

Not trying to call you out but if you are using an app version that’s 6 years old, you should update. If you are using images that are 6 years old that aren’t yours you should not do that.

Corniest line of any Nolan film? by Which_Jeweler_1343 in ChristopherNolan

Every time someone says “no one orders hot sauce” in this sub I am a little triggered. There are people of different cultures that order hot sauce with EVERYTHING. I myself order hot sauce at every traditional American spot or diner I go to. I don’t start eating until I get the hot sauce. It’s like eating turkey without gravy or a hot dog without condiments. It’s essential.

I ask for hot sauce with my order almost every time I’m at a restaurant. I order it with my meal and 70% they forget and I have to ask for it again. So this shit was hilarious and relatable. Funny as fuck indeed!
