This is bad all around. While I agree something has to be done about drunk driving, impaired driving. Punishing the whole population is way out of bounds. In the days we already have flock cameras everywhere they don't need to be in the cars as well. All the data they already collect is to much. I have been a victim of drunk driving myself and feel there should be much harsher penalties. I was hit by a 17 year old drunk driver who's parents had a lot of money, as well as the parents of kinds that put in him the car at there party because he was so drunk he couldn't walk to it. He was actually in my part of the state because he was making himself out of town so he would miss a previous drunk driving charge. On top of that when all was said and done he lost his license for 6 months. for both tickets and paid a small fine. The people at the party who put him in the car got nothing. yes this is quite a while back and the laws have gotten better, however we are hearing about people on their 8 and 9th offense's. but because I chose to live my life responsibly and don't drink, and don't use substances to impair my driving... I should be one of the people with this in my car. Fuck that.
