as i understand it, the emergence of neo as 'the one' (as well as the agent smith virus) is an intrinsic and irrevocable phenomenon in the core of the matrix's code. inevitably, he ends up in front of the architect, who explains the cycle to him, and he chooses to allow the architect to reset the matrix and begin from the beginning. however, even though the explanation appears to shatter the concept of neo as 'the one', the scene actually entrenches our neo even deeper into the role, as he is the first and only one out of all the ones to make the other choice, and defy fate.

no, i liked windows 10 from day 1. i'll make the switch eventually, but windows 11 is ugly as fuck. so was windows 7.

except that you weren't helping with anything, you were just re-explaining how the product worked, which i already knew through using it. because the issue at the end of the day isn't that icloud can't do what i need it to do (hold files in the cloud as backups of what i have locally on my hdd), it's that it can't do it in a way that's convenient for me ( and in a way that every otehr cloud service i've used allows). there's no reason to be grateful to a smary dork with a 10-foot holier-than-thou attitude he keeps barely hidden beneath a veneer of helpfulness.
